Rooms: Rooms were adequate sort of for a 1940 hotel. Clean- yes. Modern- not a chance. Really old mattresses on the bed. So bad it had a divit in it.
Safety: Safety was good. Felt secure there
Walkability: This 16 unit motel is in a family residence neighborhood. No real activities in walking distance.
Food & drinks: There is no food service at this location. The morning breakfast and lunch at sold at the country restaurant on the corner. This to is a quaint business. No great decor but the food was good, well proportioned and reasonably priced.
Noteworthy details: It is an old mid century motel waiting to be bought and remodeled. The owners are nice and accommodating with what they have but don't expect modern amenities. Have stayed here twice in the last 6 years. It was close to family for me.

A great location as a base for exploring the vineyards of Sonoma and Napa. Rooms are rustic and basic. Bring your own toiletries. There is no daily housekeeping, you make your own bed. But you can get fresh towels from the front desk. Front desk is only open from 9am to 5pm. Late check in is possible through a locked box that is accessible by key code. Car parking is free and ample. Kudos to the team for finding a ring that my sister left behind and sending it by Uber to our hotel in San Francisco after we have check out.

Beautiful, charming place to stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, smelled wonderful, and exactly what we needed for a wine tasting getaway in Sonoma. It’s near the local Sonoma square and our fave restaurants.
The only thing is the reception desk closes at 6–so any check ins later than that you would have to do online, but that’s an easy workaround.
The place exceeded expectations and we will return here if we are ever in the area again
Rooms: So clean and comfortable. Staff was accommodating
Nearby activities: Near local restaurants and near downtown area, lots to do
Safety: Never had to worry about safety
Walkability: Not so much, will need to have a car to get to the downtown
Food & drinks: Great local options about a 5-10 min drive away
Noteworthy details: Smelled amazing. So clean and refreshing. You can trust the cleaning service here

Do not stay in upper rooms, especially 16.
Road noise was pretty bad. It was necessary to open windows for fresh air, and this made road noise very bad.
Lower rooms are protected from road noise by concrete wall.
Main problem was adjacent restaurant turned on noisy exhaust fan at 5am, and it sounded like a diesel truck idling outside our front door.
This is only a problem for room #16.

Spectacular stay. Only problem, it was too short!

Good little hotel, rooms are nicely decorated with everything you need: fridge, coffeemaker. Bed is comfortable, all is clean. Wifi is excellent, lot of parking spots, price reasonable. Easy walk to several restaurants. Now we have a prefered hotel in Sonoma.

Solid budget motel. Free wifi and onsite parking. It is on a main thoroughfare for the town though so it isn't quiet.Food & drinks: There is a great cafe right around the corner that serves until 2.

Smaller room, but with cups coffee maker, spacious bathroom - even with shower gel! Once a given, now a luxury in the USA. As in almost all hotels in the States, there is no room cleaning here. After 3 weeks of staying in different hotels it's still incomprehensible to us. You have to get towels and toilet paper yourself if you need them. Another minus point is the lack of breakfast. We had rooms on the upper floor and because the neighbor's room remained free, we had the large terrace over the courtyard/parking lot just for us. Even though the hotel is on a side street, cars drive past all night long, making it almost impossible to sleep because the American, single-glazed windows really don't help much acoustically. Not so fun when you have an 11 hour flight back to Switzerland ahead of you...Price performance ratio is underground.

This is my annual home away from home after facilitating a retreat. It's a nice, quiet getaway.

Lovely furnished hotel in Sonoma, very clean and the patio is totally comfortable! The bathroom is large and the shower is great!! Definitely recommended??
Breakfast next door in the cafe is not necessarily recommended; there are better places for breakfast in Sonoma.
We definitely had a very good time in the area!!!?

Rooms: The rooms were very small and I wish the beds were a little softer. Overall the room was clean.
