“We are so luck to have found Sunshine preschool for our eldest son. Since joining he has come on leaps and bounds, We couldn’t be happier with his progress. Melissa and the teachers helped us with the dreaded task of weening our son off his pacifier, within 2 weeks it was bye bye paci. ??

Everyone is so attentive and it truly feels like a home from home. Once our youngest turns 2 he will also be joining sunshine.”

“Old Adobe School's play-based curriculum and loving dedicated teachers have been so beneficial for my daughter! She asks every morning if it is a school day and wants to wish her teachers and friends goodnight at every bedtime. Her language skills have improved, her ability to remain engaged with a task has increased, and she has acquired so many new play ideas! From food tastings to rain walks, we know she is continuously learning through doing.”

“If I had it my way I would keep my children at this school Under their staff supervision from their first experience in a public school setting until graduating high school that's how much confidence I have in the staff that work at this specific Public School the principal Maite iturri makes the children's success her personal goal expecially when it comes to working with children that struggle from many different types of disabilities and or learning barriers my son was struggling from many different aspects including being diagnosed with ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder I found myself in a situation where I was up against the Sonoma Unified School District and seeing that my son doctors and counselors advice on not removing my son from this District because we had moved back to Santa Rosa because it would be very critical to his success and would be like starting all over for him if I chose to place him within a district of my residence military pulled me to the side and asked if I would please give her school a chance to work with my son that she promises she would see that he receives all necessary services surrounding him being successful on an educational level and boy did she follow through my only words that is I was blessed it's not often that you can find a school that has every staff on board when it comes to the best interest of the students from first grade until my son's last year attending this school which was 5th grade last year my son was able to achieve multiple goals as well as be a successful student with minor major issues well he was a student at this Elementary School we had moved back to Sonoma and just recently moved back to Santa Rosa and even though my son has now moved on to Middle School I have opted to keep my two younger children at this school based on the fact that it is not often that overall you know is that your child will be in the best hands under any circumstances when on school grounds it's not often that a single School staff are all rated at the same level when it comes to someone on the outside looking in.There has not ever been a situation where i felt my children were being treated unfairly or blammed for something they had not done. I can say that anyone employed at this specific public school 100% trustworthy and will be sure to get all the facts before any disaplinary actions would ever be taken if a issue occurred. They are all 100% approachable kind understanding and willing to help in any way shape or form”

“Both of my grandchildren attended flowery from the kindergarten until they went on to Jr. High, they both excelled academically with straight A's. They have embraced speaking and writing in Spanish and have found it useful when they traveled with their parents, who have taken them to Mexico on several occasions and to Argentina.I volunteered once and the teacher did not speak any English to me and I was informed this would happen. This is an immersion school and that is how it is set up the first 4 years.I know that my grandchildren will find this useful for the rest of their lives. I think in this new global economy it is imperative that younger people should know more than one language. This is the best age for children to learn a new language. They have continued to have good grades in the non immersion Jr. High.I cannot speak highly enough about Flowery, it's fabulous teachers and it's immersion program.”
