HUGE shoutout to Safeway in Sonoma today, I left my wallet in a cart in the parking lot, whoever found it returned it to guest services and it sat for 4 days before I picked it up. Everything was still in my wallet including my cash. Thank you all sooooo much!

I went in last week to the deli section to get a sandwich and there was a lady in the bakery named Adriana that had a rude attitude as soon as i asked if i could get my sandwich toasted she rolled her eyes and said sure then i asked for extra ham and she told me it would cost almost 2 dollars just for extra ham i did not deserve to be treated like that over all apart from the deli incident, i this love safeway.

With all the rain lately, I didn’t want to go out and do grocery shopping. So I used Uber Delivery. In a pinch it’s a good service. The staff at the Sonoma store location are very helpful. And those clerks working with Uber Delivery do a very nice job. And the delivery drivers with Uber are always helpful and make sure the items are delivered right to the door.

DO NOT LET THEM GET YOUR MONEY BAD SERVICE HERE.The floors are made of cement no real flooring and has thousands of dangerous cracks in them. This violates the ADA act what a bunch of horrible people.

The morning "checker" at the self service aisle is beyond rude. Glaring at customer, rolling her eyes, etc. we know you hate your job and resent anglo customers. So rude.

This is about the PHARMACY. I went there for a covid booster and they had a choice of manufacturers and walk in service. But avoid lunch time. There is a little wait, but all the other health services in town have given up on vaccines. I had an absolutely fabulous experience with Judy, the pharmacist. Being phobic about shots, I know who is good and who is still learning. She was the best.

I used to love Safeway. However, things have changed over the last few years that have incredibly changed this chain grocery' store. First of all, the service is non existence. The help is all but incompetent. The customer service side is run by imbeciles in my experience. Im speaking of mostly the online delivery side which seems to be run by employees that have barely graduated fourth grade. It is a challenge to speak someone that is versed in English and that just doesn't want to transfer your call to someone else. I've been an on line delivery customer for years, but I'm done with this out-fit. Safeway... YOU SUCK.

A few things recently have me going elsewhere. The store is just as expensive as any of the other stores in town so the perception that Safeway might be a little more mainstream and cheaper is not correct. During the day, the lines here are usually pretty bad so you can expect to wait about 10 minutes to pay. Even the self checkout gets backed up. The six pack carrier price for liquor is wonky. I always seem to have a problem with checking out since there are all these rules that apply to get the deal. They often run out of items and it can take weeks before they get restocked. One of my favorite items went from $14.35 to 18.99 within one week. Thats more than 25%. Rampant inflation when we're being told that inflation is under control. Im just going to shop elsewhere. Even Lucky is better than this place.

After waiting in the 15 item or less line for five minutes for someone to show up w/ a scan card, there was no smiles, no, sorry for the wait, not even a thank you. The checker, Ulices, shouldn't be in a job that requires any form of customer interaction. This is my second negative comment about this store. After being a customer since 1988, I'm ready to take my business elsewhere. It also seems every time I shop there, which is at least once a week, they are always out of one or two items on my list.

Multiple rude interactions with employees/managers. Recently had a really displeasing interaction where I was basically talked down to in a very disrespectful manor for making a simple mistake.
