“I was recently started on a new medication for my pain, but my pharmacy wasn’t allowing me to pick it up due to a contra-indication with one of my other medicines. I had been going back and forth between them and my doctor with no solution. Monday, I had to pick up something else there and the pharmacist asked how I was doing and I broke down, explaining my frustration with not being able to get it, and the constant pain I’ve been in. My pharmacist relented and gave me the medication but I had to agree to take another prescription with me as a safety precaution. Yesterday was the first day in FOUR MONTHS, that I wasn’t in any pain. I didn’t have to take any extra pain medication in the evening either. Today when I got into town on my way home I stopped at the pharmacy to check in with her, thank her for helping me and actually giving me the medication and update her, because she knows what I’ve been going through and dealing with. I asked, and she allowed me to give her a big hug, and I thanked her, being ever so grateful because of being able to feel “normal” again. I had almost forgotten what it felt like to be pain free. I have the most amazing pharmacy, pharmacist, and staff in the world!!! If you ever need a pharmacy, please, use Rite-Aid in Sonoma. They are so caring, and have always treated me like family, and I’m actually lucky to be real friends with one of the pharmacy techs. Today was day two with NO PAIN, and I’m hoping this streak continues. ❤️??”
