I cannot recommend Kristin Maze Salon highly enough! They are so incredible to work with. Stefanie did the hair of myself, 7 bridesmaids, the mother of the groom, and the mother of the bride in under 6 hours. She was insanely efficient, while still getting the most beautiful results. Everyone loved working with her, and she really made for a great start to our special day.

Two trips, same result, not remotely the style in my photo (of me!). Both blow outs were the vertical curl bridesmaid style that everyone seems to like. Not possible to do at home and not much other style in the cut. Owner had recommended this stylist so I went to her asking for a person who could produce the style I have had. I was told I’d have to pay a consult fee. My guess is that the consult would result in “I can’t achieve your desired style, find a new salon”. It’s a pretty straightforward shoulder length cut. Not much confidence in her stylists. So moved on. This is an attractive salon but skill set and vision seem lacking (unless u r a bridesmaid and want to look like all the other bridesmaids). Also their pricey product line (Oribe) has the absolute worst packaging in the industry. Impossible to use with wet slippery hands and leaves a lot you can’t squeeze out.Service: Haircut

I have been going to KMS since the fall of 2018, and I can't say enough good things about this salon. Kristen and her staff are professional, kind, and welcoming. Hair washing and styling occur in a private room (it's been that way since I've been coming here), which makes for a very relaxing environment. I have received different smoothing treatments for my hair, have purchased outstanding hair products (NEVER any pressure to buy), and have bought wonderful brushes that minimize hair pulling. I have also tried and purchased make-up (also without pressure). Scheduling is on-point, with follow-up text reminders. Recently, I received a facial, and it was the most relaxing 90 minutes I've had in a long time. I look forward to my visits and highly recommend Kristin Maze Salon!

I'm so grateful for Kristin Maze Salon and their kindness! I was in desperate need for a last minute color correction before family photos and they were kind enough just to give me the time of day. Even with full schedules, they listened and genuinely cared to help me -- thank you! MiMi did such a great job! She was meticulous and truly wanted me walking away happy. I loved working with her! I also had the privileged to talk to the owners and another stylist, Dana, and they were nothing but wonderful! Highly recommend!

I am so happy to have found Mimi at Kristin Maze salon. She is professional, a great colorist and gave me a terrific cut. Give them a try they are expensive but worth every cent!

Great atmosphere. Friendly happy people, who love what they do and you can see and feel it. I’ve had three amazing hair cuts there! I highly recommend it! Also, the quality of their products are top notch!

Dana was lovely and did a great job coloring my hair. Unfortunately, however, the prices at this salon are higher than I think is reasonable so I won't be back.

Let me start by saying that having good hair is VERY HIGH on my priority list. I had the same hairdresser for 10 years in NYC whom I loved going to and I struggled to find a new salon when I first moved to Sonoma. It was especially difficult finding a stylist that can handle my curly hair. I was so excited to see they do Ouidid cuts and Ericia gave me THE BEST cut I've ever had! She's now cut my hair 4 times and I'll definitely continue going back. Also, Dana does my color, and I've been to her probably 5-6 times and my color looks the best it's ever looked. I had an allergic reaction to the first color brand she used, but she switched brands and I haven't had a problem since. I really like this salon because everyone is so nice, professional, and have great attitudes. Plus, it's a beautiful salon. It's nice to see the owner, Kristin, in there as well. I always leave here feeling fabulous and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone. Bonus: they're not the most expensive in town either (and I've tried them all), but they are the BEST!
