When my washer was still broken I asked him to come back and fix it it refused and said to tell the insurance to send someone else. His texts were rude. We're as we were kind and understanding to him and his wife. I will never have him work on any of our appliances.Service: Washing machine repair

Accepted our repair contract via First American, with full access and knowledge on details of the job and the address. Confirmed with us via phone himself the repair job and our location by phone. We waited over a week for the next available appointment time - only for this company to call the day before our scheduled appointment time and inform us he was cancelling the job and sending us back to First American as this location was 'out of his area.' He's only an hour away from us, and could have taken responsibility for his error and honored the contract. Huge inconvenience and did nothing to make it right. Even after I followed up directly and begged him to still take the job and explained our urgent situation and the months we've been without an appliance. Based on customer service and business practices alone - would not recommend.

I called Jay on Friday morning about my not-working 10-year-old gas drier. He came that afternoon, took 5-10 minutes to diagnose the problem and order the part, called the following Monday with the part and installed that day. Quick, courteous, reasonably-priced service. Who could ask for more?Unfortunately a rarity these days.

This is a different kind of review, let's call it an "integrity" review for which I would give 10 stars if I could. I put in a request with my home warranty company for problems with my dryer, paid the $75 service fee and waited for the call from Jays. When Jays called to schedule the appointment, they asked a couple of questions about what was wrong and quickly surmised that I didn't need their services, rather a vent company. He went on to explain that vents weren't covered under my policy and gave me the number of a good company in town. He further advised me to cancel my service call for him ASAP so that I could get a refund. I was able to get the refund and can't stop thinking about how easy it would have been for Jays to just come on out, say they couldn't help me and pocket the fee. I'll definitely keep Jays, and their integrity, in mind the next time I need appliance repair. Bravo!

Extremely fast service. I had a broken dishwasher at my rental house and needed it repaired the same day. Jay came within a couple of hours and had it fixed. Reasonable price. Great service. Highly recommend.

He called me back quite quickly about my question about replacing a bearing on my front load washer. He didn't waste my time or his by immediately telling me that it was the death knell for a front loader because it would cost more to fix than the machine was worth. Thank you, Jay!

It took a while for Jay to arrive, but, once here, he got my dryer fixed in record time. Gave me honest advice on what of expect of my old machine. I am relieved and grateful.
