Scott is a local gem and a master craftsman of his trade. He couldn't have been more warm, welcoming and attentive, spending ample time helping us to select the perfect frames for our art. Scott has a wonderful aesthetic sense and has been invested in his trade for fifty years. We are so pleased with the results of his work! The Framery is truly a Sonoma treasure.

I was in need of a frame for the Accordian Festival poster I bought last week. I found the Framery of SONOMA. The man who runs the place was the mist knowledgeable framer I have ever met. Not only did he do a great job, but it was done before it was promised

I don't write many reviews, but when I saw the negative review below when I was looking up the Framery of Sonoma's phone number I had to respond. I have had Scott frame numerous things for me and he has always done an outstanding job. He is collaborative in deciding the right frame and mat and I have found his work to be exceptional, which is the reason that I was looking up his phone number so I can take some more art in to have him frame it. This is not a sterile corporate business, it is eclectic and an artisan run shop. I like it that way

Wonderful shop. Vintage frames and great local art. A gem of a find!

While the owner of this place is a super nice guy, I can't recommend it as a good choice if you need something framed. In the first place, the shop is so cluttered that there is no room on the table to put down your artwork, a given at any picture framer. But last week I had a problem with his work that was resolved poorly, during which I noticed sloppy workmanship and neglectful professionalism. I hate writing negative reviews on any local business but felt I should share what happened. I had a painting on canvas that I needed to have removed from its stretcher bars and mounted onto board and was really disappointed in the process. The board backing seemed assembled hastily and I noticed after taking it home that glue had been dribbled on my painting. I stopped by during his business hours. Although his "Open" sign was displayed, the shop was closed for two days during posted hours and he did not pick up his messages until days later. When he finally returned my call, he only offered to help with removing the glue if I couldn't do it myself, and suggested I could come in three days later when he was open again if I needed to. This is not the way I feel the situation should have been handled, and I plan to go elsewhere in the future.

Scott at the Framery is my go-to spot for all things framing. His expertise is way beyond that of Michaels or any other discount frame shop. His artistic background gives him an "eye" that helps create beautiful framed art. I use the Framery for my personal framing as well as my business. There is no one better!
