I found this winery and I was excited because the prices of the wines weren't too bad. Tasting is $35 per person and my husband and I shared. You get five tastings but we also got a couple others. The girl that helped us was excellent, sorry I don't know her name. She was very friendly and informative. We also got some almonds and bread and olive oil. Plus she brought us cold water which was great. I ended up buying two wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Granache. There are other wineries nearby, and it would be fun to make a day of it. The place is beautiful. I love the hardwood and our table was of stone.

We first discovered Enkidu during April in Carneros several years ago and have always liked their wine. We joined their wine club in 2022 and have met Phil, the winemaker. The tasting room has both indoor and outdoor seating, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Rebecca, who poured our wines during our two most recent visits, is enthusiastic, friendly, and very knowledgable about the wines. Charcuterie is available to purchase. Love their Cab, but my favorite is the Humbaba, a Syrah blend. Phil also makes a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. During our most recent visit we tried a Port, and although I'm not big on desert wines I really liked it. Great place for a laid back wine tasting.

I just wanted to give a shout for Enkidu, since there are not so many review on this page and this winery certainly deserves the love. To start, all of the people I have interacted with at this winery have been really lovely. I really get the feeling that this winery is about giving a great experience and about investing in its employees and customers. I've always gotten a very personable interaction--it definitely does not have the impersonal feel that some wineries can have, and I have always really enjoyed my time tasting wines and hanging out here. As to the wines, I like Enkidu because they really do their own interpretation of fairly common varietals to the region. These wines have always stood out to me as different and memorable in very good ways, and I have made it a point to keep coming back to Enkidu for years and years. After all this time, I am still loving their wines! Also, I would just add that I would consider these wines a bit of a bargain given the quality and the price point. It's nice to visit a place in Sonoma where it feels like you can have a nice experience and high-quality wines without having to really splurge.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Enkidu Winery, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The journey began when we first tasted their 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from BevMo! and instantly fell in love with it. The wine was so exceptional that we ended up purchasing an additional 4-5 bottles on two separate occasions, which ultimately piqued our curiosity to visit the winery itself.Upon arriving at Enkidu, we were warmly greeted by Rebecca, who served as our host (she’s actually the Director of Hospitality!). Rebecca's professionalism and kindness were evident from the start, and she made us feel right at home. Her wealth of knowledge about the wines and the stories behind added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.During our tasting, we had the opportunity to sample a wide range of wines, from Grenache to Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and even the intriguing Humbaba Rhône blend. Every wine we tried was absolutely amazing, surpassing our expectations. As individuals who are not typically fans of Zinfandel, we were pleasantly surprised by Enkidu's version. In fact, we were so impressed that we decided to become their club members, which not only waived our wine tasting fee but also allowed us to take home a few bottles with us. (Oh, did I mention their olive oil, fig jam and mysterious nuts are amazing!!)Enkidu Winery is truly a hidden gem that I highly recommend to any wine enthusiast. If you have the chance to visit, be sure to seek out Rebecca. Her expertise and warm hospitality enhance the overall experience and make it even more memorable. We will definitely be returning to Enkidu in the future, eager to explore more of their exceptional wines.

We recently joined as a wine club member back in Dec 2022 after going up with a member of our family who knew the winemaker Phil. We have been to more than a dozen wineries in Sonoma and Napa regions and always loved trying out new wineries. The wines we tried at this winery were amazingly tasteful. We're a big fan of pinot noir wines and this place had some of the best pinot noir wines, particularly the 2021 Peters Pinot Noir and the library wines 2014 Tina Marie and 2016 Russian River. The other wines such as the Humbaba and Grenache were also great. We picked our first shipment during the wine member pickup event in April. The staffs, Becca and Butch were great, friendly and down to earth. Phil was personal, knowledgeable, and most importantly so passionate about making the best wines to share with people. It was a remarkable experience and we can't wait to have another glass or two! What a hidden gem!!

What a great space! Very pretty indoors and out. Beautiful cranes nest outside by the pond. My husband and brother in law enjoyed all the reds. I tool home a Sauv blanc. The folks pouring are smart and friendly. Great stop- feels like the old days when you might meet the wine maker (we did) and feel really welcome at a winery.

Beautiful, balanced wine true to the grape varietals: sauvignon blanc, grenache blanc, pinot noir, grenache, petite syrah, and cabernet sauvignon. I love the aromatic GSM Blend Humbaba and could see why it won Gold in the North Coast. The Shamhat Rose is flirty, fun, and easy to drink with low alcohol. Phil is a talented winemaker passionate about creating moments of happiness for people. Whether you are a couple or a large group looking for a relaxed, warm, friendly tasting room, check out Enkidu. Solid people with elegant wine in Sonoma! Btw, the outdoor space is so lovely and dog friendly! Walk in or reserve through cellar pass.

A beautiful space with delicious Pinot Noirs and other varietals. An affordable tasting in otherwise-pricey Sonoma.

Loved this tasting room so so much! Rebecca took us through a wine tasting sharing lots of great info with us, sharing stories about the wine & overall taking it nice & slow! Her enthusiasm was refreshing! We got to meet Ariana who was also lovely to chat with & she gave us some incredible recommendations on where to eat while we were in town! (We got the elotes at Kina's if you see this ) So besides the service, the wine is incredible!! We were totally hooked by the Humbaba! The Pinot noir & sauv blanc also amaaaazing. The Sauvignon blanc is like silk. The next day we went back and enjoyed a glass of wine out on the gorgeous patio while we waited for an Uber to take us into town to eat. Butch took care of us & made us feel right at home with his warm personality. We brought some of our favorites back home to Humboldt to pair with farm fresh food & locally caught fish! We can't wait til next time
