If I can give 0 stars I would. Let me tell you the reason for a fat 0... I'm an openly gay man visiting Sonoma on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon doing some shopping. I stopped by this dump, Angelique Boutique looking at some women's clothing standing outside on a rack. I was trying on a jacket and knew it was a women's jacket. A lady who works there comes out of the store and asks if I needed something. I said I'm trying on this jacket and it doesn't fit me. She says, of course it doesn't because it's women's. I said since when does it matter if you have money to spend and you like something why can't I look at it and buy it. She snatched the jacket out of my hand and I said I'm in a free country and I'm free to look and buy anything I want. It doesn't matter who you are or what your sexual orientation is, you should be able to look at any damn piece of clothing you want. My husband came over and found out what happened to me. I explained the discrimination I experienced and how rude, racist and judgmental she was. He took a picture of this dump called Angelique. We left furious and beyond hurt. As we were walking around looking at other shops, the lady came out of nowhere and was following us. She approached me wanting to apologize. Her excuse was she didn't know I was gay. She said she was a ballerina. She said she never discriminates anyone , however she already judged me for looking at women's clothing. I feel as if the apology was insincere. She already judged a book by its cover and it was too late to accept her apology. I can't believe in this day and age someone is judged by someone for who they are. The Bay Area is well known for its diversity and different cultures. Actions speak louder than words. She didn't hurt my feelings, she hurt me for being who I am. If you're an openly gay man shopping in downtown Sonoma, stay away from Angelique's Boutique. They will judge you before talking to you.

My hubby and I were strolling by last night. I saw a lovely and cool looking dress in the window. Alas, the store was closed. However, the owner, Claire, was so sweet that she welcomed us in and encouraged me to try on the dress. She was very knowledgeable about the brand, sizing, and fabric care. Amazingly, this beautiful Samuel Dong dress was available in many colors, including a pretty emerald color. Given that Valentine's Day is around the corner, I walked out with the red dress. I recommend this cute boutique for the friendly customer service and the cool clothes!

My fiancé and I had never been in this store before but I wanted to find a nice outfit for my mom. When we went in we were greeted like family. The staff was so kind and so helpful in finding an outfit for my mom. Their customer service is incredible. The kindness they showed us we will never forget. We will absolutely be back and I will recommend them to everyone. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful place right before Christmas. We love this place and the staff.

What a delight! Wandered into LaSelette in Sonoma for a lunch. Everything from the accomodating staff to the absolutely wonderful and tasty food. Definitely on our go-to place for sure.

Fantastic! I read Chef Manuel opened this place with his mom over 20 years ago and I can see why this place has flourished. Everything we ordered from the pan seared scallops and pork belly starters to the pork shoulder and clams entree were all cooked to perfection and the flavors......amazing. Our desert "The Tradional" included a variety of Portuguese samples from rice pudding to an almond ice cream sandwich. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic and the staff is so friendly and attentive. Don't pass this place up!

LaSalette is a perfect spot to celebrate an anniversary dinner. It was lovely and the roasted octopus appetizer was a standout. Everything i fresh and tasty. The Fisherman's Stew and Pork & Clams were generous portions. I especially appreciated the 3 or 6 ounce pours of wine. This was just right if you don't want a huge glass. 3 ounces is more than it sounds. LaSalette is outstanding and I'd return to this Sonoma gem.

We enjoyed our leisurely dinner at LaSallette. My friend had the Fisherman's stew, which was fresh and delicious. I had the Bacalhau, which is the traditional Portuguese salted cod dish with potatoes. I enjoyed it but was used to the Bacalhau I had in Norway, which uses tomatoes. The homemade rolls, as others have mentioned, are delicious and special. We shared the local white wine flight which was a great way to go. The wines were delicious and it was kind of a mini wine tasting. We shared the flan for dessert, which was lovely. My friend is hard of hearing and we had requested a quiet table outside if possible. They did a great job accommodating us. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. It was a busy evening and staff were doing their best is this Covid world, service was fine and we were surprised at how quickly our meals came to the table.

I know the food is good having been there before -- this review is for service. My bestie and I were looking forward to a lovely lunch reservation, booked well in advance to ensure we could go here, on a beautiful August day. It was very warm out, and most people were seated outside. We had asked to be seated outside as well but the two tables left that had any shade left were being held for people with dogs. How is it more important to be able to bring your dog to a restaurant AND keep the dog cool than it is to accommodate a reservation outside without a dog?? The hostess seemed nervous but held firm that we would have to sit in the full sun so that dogs that hadn't even arrived yet could be comfortable. Must be for regulars, and I'm a dog lover, but this is really bad practice! Put the dog in the shade a little further away? I mean there has to be another solution. So we left instead.

Just a heads up, if you can't make your reservation, they will charge you $40/pp. That really put a terrible taste in our mouth as we were going to be a little late due to traffic. Luckily they were able to push the reservation, but the lady on the phone was super snippy at us when we explained the situation. Food was nice, but not great customer service.

One of the longest term women's clothing boutiques on the Sonoma square. This small shop is jammed packed with inventory. There's quite a variety from California casual to continental chic. My wife has bought several dresses here. She's always happy with the quality and the look. Service folks are always helpful. I've known the owner since 1998. She's an energetic bubbly and happy person. The shop reflects her joie de vivre. There are dozens of clothing boutiques in Sonoma. Be sure to visit this one.

We love just about everything at LaSalette! Definitely a place to enjoy awesome food when in Sonoma. This trip we enjoyed some great apps - outstanding gazpacho, heirloom tomato salad, salted cod cakes, and their fabulous homemade rolls! The main course was octopus salad, bacalau casserole, and scallops over sweet potato purée. Wine was a lovely bottle of Vinho Verde. We shared a stunning caramel flan style dish with apples and a crunchy delectable crust, a 4-scoop ice cream taster (the chocolate piri piri is to die for), and a gorgeous port from the 1960s. We even enjoyed the espresso which was perfect!! Service is usually good, sometimes great. We always come back for the food over and over - it's always a 5-star culinary experience!

Cute little place that's tucked away in a tiny square. They have seating inside and out and we opted for outdoor which was perfect. Really charming and the temperature compared to indoor was great. Food is very good to excellent. Good selection of wines and they had a delicious sangria. Hostess wasn't really warm or inviting, but she was efficient and I never saw her stop moving the entire time we dined. She seated people, cleared tables and set them for the next diners. Service was the real disappointment. Our server was very nice and knew the menu well. The problem was pacing. There are suggested pairings of wine with food and we ordered wines that were suggested. Problem was, they came late and midway through our meals. We'd have asked sooner, but never had a chance. Biggest issue was the dessert, which also had a pairing suggestion with each dish. We opted for their ice cream with a suggested Madeira flight. The ice cream was a nice presentation of 4 different flavors (LOVED 2 of them and other 2 were just okay). Again, they arrived, no wines and nobody near our table as ice cream began to melt. As we ate the last bites of ice cream, we figured they'd simply forgotten the flight and were just going to make sure we were not charged. Table was bused by a food runner and a few beats later, the server showed with the fight. Not a huge deal but it was a disappointment, and we decided to just have the wines and linger for a bit. They were good, but it would have been nice to actually have the pairing as suggested. Server apologized and just said that she'd dropped the ball. Nothing at all was done for the bill, which we thought odd, since most places would at least comp dessert, but nothing. We ate it all and enjoyed it, but it's strange. In reservation we'd mention a Bday, but no mention of it. Again, not a big issue, but don't ask if you are not going to do anything. Definitely recommended and we'd go back, but with some tempered expectations.

The food was really good and came out fast. But the service was slow, they had only one waiter for over 5 tables. We ordered the sardines , the fisherman's soup, the aaroz, and the sea bass filet.

Excellent food! This is worth the drive to Sonoma. I think this might be a very busy place. I just happened by at lunchtime and was seated immediately. I would highly recommend making reservations ahead of time. The staff was polite and helpful. The service was a little slow but that is because they are understaffed. Like most restaurants they're probably having trouble hiring people. Please give him a break, they are doing the best I can.
