The whole staff was wonderful. The doctor clearly loved dogs and was able to immediately assess the condition. Price was very reasonable and follow up was fantastic. Thank you!

They handle my dogs well and are responsive to emails and efficient in scheduling appointments. If you're in Ventura County, I would definitely recommend giving them a try!

Dr Singh has been taking care of all my pets for years today was the second time we had to say goodbye to one of our animals he knew what was going on just by looking at her that she had very bad diabetes at 20 years old he worked with me and we made a decision to not let her suffer.Whenever our animals needs care he will squeeze us in on an overbooked day I refer him to everyone at the grooming salon I work at because he is the best !

Dr. Singh is a doctor of bad intent. He prescribed my dog medication and we went to him for help with her allergies since she was a puppy. He knows our situation well and he would not give my dog the treatment she needed. Went back to this vet for years for help and he intended "she had a bad heart" without running any tests, and by just looking at her. I finally decided to take my dog to the vet in Simi Valley, and she was immediately better and finally got the treatment she needed. Do not trust him, he wants ur money, not ur dog to be healthy.

had to make a difficult decision to put down our pet after working with two vets, but Dr Singh was where we came in the end. I highly recommend his practice!

Trusting our pets care to Dr.Singh has been the best choice for all of our fur babies. We recently had to make the decision of euthanizing a beloved Marcie. It was the most heartbreaking decision but Dr.Singh and his staff were so kind and compassionate. The kindness didn't end the day of ,it continues to this day by ensuring that our family is doing well thru this difficult time. We feel certain that we made the right decision for our precious Marcie. We will only intrust all of our pets with Dr.Singh and his staff.

I highly recommend Dr Singh and Somis Vet! Dr Singh is very kind and his front staff is helpful. The prices are reasonable and there is usually pretty good availability for appointments as well. I’m fostering a litter of rescue puppies and they received very good care. I also love the online portal they have because all of your records are available with just one login.

Where do I start? We brought a dog we had fostered in for an examination, and for a clearer idea of what a large lesion on the dog's back might be. This dog was a newly nursing Mom. The dog was taken in without us being present, and brought back about 5 minutes later, with us being told that the lesion on her back was a "burn". A week or two later, lesions started sprouting on all of the other pups. Concerned, we contacted the rescue organization, Wagmor, who again organized an appointment with this same vet. Again the dogs were all taken in without us being in the room with the vet, for a grand total of 5 minutes maybe. They were brought back out to us, and we were told the puppies had puppy strangles. What is puppy strangles we thought...couldn't be too serious as he prescribed nothing. We then looked it up, and we were shocked to learn that this was a life threatening condition that required immediate intervention. However, it was also clear to us that the puppies were not sharing any of the symptoms of this condition. It also looked nothing like it. For a week we asked for a second opinion as we weren't sold on Dr Singh's diagnosis. We took the pups into another vet, and it was immediately clear to this other vet that they had ringworm. And a severe case at that. The test proved positive two days later. We are left with a severe case of ringworm, which could have been dealt with 5 weeks ago, if Dr Singh did his job and tested the lesion on the mother with a skin scrape. The puppies are suffering needlessly, and our house has become contaminated with a horrendously contagious disease, putting our other dog at risk, as well as ourselves and our daughter. If you do choose to take your pet here, be incredibly wary. In my opinion he shouldn't practicing.

5 stars! Not only did they get us in quickly, they made sure to check with me about my financial situation before suggesting anything. I appreciated their soft touch with my girl and quick pick up for medication refill. I'll definitely be going back to Somis Vet in the future!

I have taken my pets here in the past, but my last visit was less than satisfactory. My cat had a diarrhea issue so I took him in. He mentioned the costs of said treatments, but when it came time to pay, the amount was significantly higher than what he had told me. When I questioned it, he became irritable and said that he could no longer see my cat because he had fleas, which to me is an absurd thing to say coming from a veterinary hospital that treats pet ailments. I simply asked for a breakdown of what was being charged to which he asked that I never return. If you choose to continue coming here, please make note of what you are being charged for. He over charges in some instances hoping that the customer will not catch on.
