I am so sad to have to write this review. We have been wine club members for years and are having to let go of our membership. This winery is under new ownership and the entire vibe of this place has changed. As club members we were never limited on our tastings. Now we get 5 just like anyone that walks in the door. The charcuterie plate is half what it used to be. Only two cheeses, a Brie and another mild white cheese that was chopped up in very small squares, some salami that looked old, a few crackers and nuts. Elliott is the only friendly and personable employee there. Today we felt we inconvenienced the manager with our tasting as we were pretty much ignored by her as she messed with the Wi-Fi and put Christmas decor away. It feels cold and unfriendly now. Too bad. We loved Paul and the other owners. If you're going to change things that much change the name as well. People are expecting the same warm and friendly service. We have been in to taste about 3 times since the new ownership and it's gotten worse each time. There's too much good wine around here to put up with horrible service and attitude. We will find another wine club to join as we love this area.

This was the worst experience. I wound not recommend this winery to go to. They didn't tell us how much wine tasting is. Not very good customer service. Would not recommend this winery and will never go there again. They are under new management and don't really understand the industry.

My fiancé and I have frequented Sentivo several times before. We have enjoyed the staff, ambiance, and especially the sparkling! It's very nice that the local wineries share their wine club coupons. We have discovered several local wineries this way, and thought we would revisit Sentivo in this same fashion.Upon arriving at Sentivo, we were greeted at the entrance. The woman said, "welcome to Sentivo winery." I responded, "hello, we are wine club members for the day!" She promptly responded, "where did you get that?"She went on to say that she was the new owner and was trying to do away with these coupons. At no point did she say that she would not honor the coupon. We sat at the bar, enjoyed Mick's stories, the sparkling, and visited the Cab, and Syrah. It came time to leave and we were told the the owner would not honor the coupon, and we would have to purchase two bottles to wave our tasting fees. This was horrible customer service, speaks loudly of the new ownership, and the wines were not even to our liking. We will not patronize this establishment again, and will not recommend this establishment to our friends and family.

Sentivo is a truly wonderful destination. The staff are incredible - friendly and relaxed enough to make you feel welcome, knowledgeable to talk shop with anyone who' s interested. Fabulous cheese boards and charcuterie plates! And let's talk about the wines. Their Syrah is one of my favorite wines of all time. You can sit at the counter and chat with other guests and staff, or pick a spot outside to enjoy the cozy and beautiful landscape. Highly recommend!

Great winery!! So beautiful. The ambiance was relaxing and pretty. Wines were unique and flavorful. They had flatbreads and pulled pork sandwiches that were really good and substantial. Highly recommend

Mick truly made this tasting a fun time. He mixed a few personal wine stories in with the facts on the wines and winery. He made us feel like the only ones there. He welcomed us with a glass of the Brut Sparkling Wine. Then we could choose from the tasting menu the four to try. Most of us lean towards the reds, but can often be intrigued with the right whites. My fav and take homes were the 2017 Malbec and the very interesting 2011 deepRoots Petite Sirah. I wished I had known they offer a small food menu- charcuterie board, sliders, 3 flatbreads and a salad. They would have been great nibbles with the tasting, but we lunch plans at another winery. The tasting room is large and open. Several seats at the bar and several tables. Outside is beautiful. Lots of comfy couch seating areas and tables overlooking the fall vines turning orange and red. Lots of parking in their private gravel lot. I need a return.

My friends and family surprised me with a birthday celebration at Sentivo of coarse they are all members. The drive from the Valley was very long passing all of the other good winery we could have stopped at BUT Saturday afternoon with friends and family you can't beat that! Once arrived the grounds were breath taking the property was stunning tucked away in the valley of Somerset in the El Dorado hills!Sentivo certainly lived up to our desired day of fun and celebration with a warm, tentative and welcoming staff.Plenty of seating outdoors with board games and Jenga blocks for adult fun and kids entertainment with a wonderful view over looking the valley. We did not want to leave because it was a much needed break from the everyday grind. The food served was also delicious and everyone did a couple of flats tasting for about 20 people. All of the wine selections were absolutely great!! We all walked away with a couple of bottles!Again, I had the VIP treatment with beautiful views, staff was extremely friendly, food was great and it was a pleasure for our kids to mingle with the owner/employee kid that also treated us like family!!We will be back!

What a perfect spot for a fantastic tasting! Great food and views make us want to visit every weekend. Ms. Kelly is a fantastic host and made our pup feel like he was family..she is now Aunt Kelly. We sat outside in a beautifully oriented seating area with pleasant music playing throughout and the indoor tasting room was just as inviting.
