My husband and I always pass this place on our way up to a winery as it's on a 4 way intersection. For some reason I thought it was a restaurant, but it's actually a tasting room! (It's a Polynesian Girl not Grill). They have amazing wine at this family owned vineyard. The owner, Tatiana was very kind and shared with us how her hobby of wine making became her family business. There's a cool drone shot video in the tasting room that shows clips of the property and their family harvesting grapes. She is from Tahiti so inside has amazing jewelry that incorporates the Tahitian pearl. It's a nice place to stop and taste some wine. Don't forget to grab some bottles to enjoy at home later! My husband and I bought the Cabernet & Malbec. We'll definitely be coming back!

Love their wine, the Petite Sirah and Viognier are my absolute favorite! The vibes are amazing and the owners are super friendly and inviting. They also have beautiful pearl jewelry! Will definitely be back! Thank you for a great experience!

I have a friend in the area and would always drive by this place but never stop. It's located at a four way stop sign junction and the building is a bit non-descript. So when I found out that they were part of the wineries participating in the Fair Play Harvest Festival, I had to drop in! The owner is from Tahiti, hence the name of the place. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by the interior with their selection of paintings for sale, jewelry collection but the standout was the wine! My favorite was the 2019 Carneros Chardonnay ($36.99) and the 2018 Malbec ($34.99). Tastings run $5 each and the friendly and informative folks in the tasting room are worth the stop alone!

One of the few places in our area I can say I love all the wines.Palate is very subjective, but I really like this place.

We have driven by Polynesian Girl many times when going to visit other FairPlay wineries but have not stopped for a visit. We decided to stop by as part of the FairPlay harvest festival. The winery is run by a husband and wife team (Jeremy and Tatiana). Jeremy and another gent hosted us very warmly, telling us about the wine and the history of the winery. The wine was very good. We had a lovely time and look forward to taking other friends to visit.

Awesome find on our road trip. Husband bought 2 bottles (one cab and one melbec). Met one of the owners, Jeremy. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and when he spoke of the co-owner (his wife) you could see the adoration on his face. They also sell some exquisite pearl jewelry...I'm now the proud owner of this beautiful necklace. We may not know exactly where we are, but will definitely find our way back when we go to Tahoe again.

I know EVERY winery in Fairplay, and there are loads of good ones. This place deserves your attention. They have some good wines, and the wines tasting experience is very nice. I just finished a bottle of Granache, and it was fantastic. They are going to be one place to watch as they grow. Stop on by. (No, I do not know the family; nor do I live in the area).
