I cannot say enough about the staff at the pharmacy here! They went out of their way and delayed taking their lunch break in order to help me in a tough situation. Thank you to the pharmacy staff for saving me days of time & 500 miles of driving ????

poor costumer service, there is a gentleman by the name Pier in the deli department who was super rude and and disrespectful . it look like he dint want to be there or help any costumers. i suggest he gets a different job may cleaning the parking lot or pushing carts since he does not like talking to costumers.

Von's has about everything you need except their deli is not that great.. sprouts has better kabobs and skewers & pre-made dinners to eat that night. Vons does has some premade dinners but they're usually salmon with potatoes or sandwiches, nothing that really you can put on the grill or air fryer like healthy steak or chicken kabobs or marinated salmon or brushed shrimp skewers like sprouts has. And sprouts has a much better selection dairy department for different cottage cheeses, creamers, & sugar-free ice cream and yogurts.

Nice size Vons located in Solana Beach. They belong to the same group as Shaw's, which we shop at in Rhode Island, namely the Albertsons Grocery Store chain. In 2022 Kroger and Albertsons proposed a merger (they are the #1 and #2 grocery chains the country) which is still pending lawsuits and anti-monopoly concerns. This particular store had a lot of sale items and we were able to grab their weekly flyer right as we walked in. Their pharmacy and health & beauty section are not too large, but they carry many of the basic national brands as well as their Signature private labels. Their self checkout cash registers provide an option for those who don't mind self scanning their own items.

I wish I could say nice things about this location but I can’t. I’ve bought meat from the butcher that was pink on the outside and brown on the inside, I’ve bought meat from the butcher that went bad the next day. The produce at this location is also poorly circulated and often goes bad quickly. I bought a piece of sheet cake today and it was stale. Before I buy anything I check the packaged date or the expiration and often it’s expired and about to expire because they don’t rotate the prepared foods. The staff seems overworked and miserable and it’s shows in the quality of the items being presented for customers to purchase. Solana Beach is a nice area and the prices reflect that but unfortunately the quality doesn’t. Don’t waste your money and go someplace else food is too expensive right now.

Sad to say this but I’m amaze how amazingly rude and and racist this manager Cynthia ,I asked the register lady to break my $100 because I needed change for my organization event, she told me to go to Cynthia the Manager to get a better change because she has no change at her register,Went up to Cynthia the guest register and I kindly asked her to break my $100 specifically asked her for $1, $5, $10Then Cynthia told me to meet her at register 3She open the register then start counting, she tried to give me 4 $5 and the rest $20bills, so I kindly told her that I don’t want $20Told her that I want $1, $5,$10,Cynthia told me “ well dude I can’t help you”Basically shuts me down and walked away.I am really sad that I experienced this.
