Vickie has been cutting my hair for almost a decade now. Scissor cuts are always the best, but they can be hard to find without breaking the bank. Vickie only does scissor cuts and is the best in the game for male or female cuts. Highly recommend.

bad attention I was only going for a consultation. the blonde woman who treated me was rude, she did not use the mask , she was not courteous to me and did not even make an evaluation of my hair. If you have a bad experience when entering, just think, there are many more places where there are real people full of love and good vibes . we deserve good attention at all times.

I met Vickie when I was doing photojournalism and immediately fell in love with her and the salon. It's beautiful, quaint, and chic spot a block away from the beach. I have now been a client of Vickie's for over 5 years and couldn't be more happy. Her incredible knowledge of all things hair never ceases to amaze. She's not just a stylist, she's an innovator (her ability to keep on-pace w/ what's relevant is phenomenal), a world traveler, was a student of Vidal Sassoon and an incredible teacher. Still so glad I walked into her salon years ago. Love my hair and love Vickie!!

Vickie Lavanty is great! I've had two incredible haircuts by Vickie and one by Dreya. This little sleepy seaside salon is totally deceiving. Without going inside and talking to the stylists, you'd almost never suspect that this place rocks! Vickie is an internationally renowned stylist, instructor and teaches her other stylists the same techniques and styles. I got the full rundown after asking about all the awards on the wall. So I go inside, I sit down, get a wash and cut in about 20 minutes and look like a new person! Vickie Lavanty Salon is amazing!
