I attended my friend's daughter's wedding that was held at this beautiful golf club. The wedding ceremony took place on the lawn of golf course, cocktail hour was in a partially enclosed outdoor patio, and dinner was held indoors. While the venue itself was gorgeous, I felt the space was rather cramped, especially the reception area. There were 2 bar stations but when people lined up to get drinks, there was no space to move around them, you're just stuck in one place. With 150 guests, there was seating for about 20, and limited tall tables for placing drinks and hors d'oeuvres on top for another 20. The other guests and I agreed the reception should have been held on the lawn where it was more spacious. We did catch a gorgeous view of the sunset. The outdoor deck was also a beautiful setting for photos! Inside the club house where the dinner reception was held, it was more spacious. The layout was nice and it provided a long runway for the bridal party to make their grand entrance. There was a good sized dance floor, so we all enjoyed the evening. The event coordinator did a wonderful job and I appreciated the attention to detail. Kudos to the chef and waitstaff for preparing and delivering our plated meals of steak or Chilean sea bass, it was delicious!

Worst run event department. Impossible to reach, horrible to work with. Incompetent and unhelpful. Held my husband's memorial service here and they made it so stressful and made so many mistakes.

The food and service was spectacular at the Lookout. Loved the variety of options like poki, curry & burritos, and all of them tasted yummy. It was also nicely presented, and had quality & quantity in their food. The best part was the dessert. We had pizookie & churro cheesecake bites. Pizookie was perfectly rich and blended the cold ice cream and warm cookie nicely. The churro cheesecake bites are to die for. Just for future, though the club is closed on Sundays, the Lookout restaurant was open. They do adhere to dress code and males are required to wear collared shirts.

Spent the afternoon at the country club for lunch and pool time with my family. The pool had a snack bar with an assortment of options. Beautiful property with an incredible view. Perfect venue for a wedding. Property is on a hill and you can see the ocean. The ponds have the cutest turtles sunbathing. We lounged by the pool and had lunch. Food was great. The staff was amazing. Woody is the best! He took us on a tour of the property and watched a game of pickle ball.

I've been coming here for a very long time and there have been many good changes to the club. The food is better, the decor is nicer, etc. The problem it seems is the club's identity is that of a relaxed, not elitist place that fits with the vibe of Solana Beach. However, the bar/restaurant seems to be struggling with that. I brought my 21 year old daughter for lunch outside, unfortunately to be told that because she was wearing a T-shirt over shorts (normal attire for her age) that she could not stay unless she was wearing a collared shirt. The waiter brought an older men's collared shirt for her to put on when we protested and my daughter did not want to wear it. When this happened another table said that happened to them too, and the husband wearing the t shirt decided to leave. The other ladies were wearing workout clothes with strappy workout tops. I understand that it is your prerogative to have rules like this in your club. However if you are trying to keep younger people coming to your club, to keep future membership opportunities, I suggest you rethink this, as the rule caters to golfers and you are missing the people who have the money to join but do not care to always dress up. Women don't often wear collared shirts after working out, going to a class, or going for a swim. In fact, I rarely see women wearing collared shirts at all in Solana Beach. The waiter said he would be in trouble with his manager if he let her stay. Instead we left when the restaurant only had 3 tables occupied, all were women who discussed how this rule is thoughtless and out of date. LSFCC is not a fancy high end club and hasn't meant to be. Let's get real about your audience - unless all you want to join are golfers.

BEST DAY BY PAR! Chelsi and the Lomas team did not disappoint. The venue was breathtaking and the staff provided 5 star quality service. The food was amazing, we had the steak, lamb, and seabass for our entrees and every entree was cooked to perfection. I did not hear ANY complaints from our guests. Our late-night snacks were a hit, we had the mini cali burritos - it was a treat for our out of towners! We loved the vendors that Chelsi recommended, esp Fabcakes and Amy with our florals!

Great place for our monthly meetings. The service is good as is the food. They are accommodating and willing to work with us on meal changes for food allergies which is a real plus these days.

My daughter's wedding was held at the beautiful Lomas Santa Fe Country Club . Chelsi is just awesome to work with. She explains all the details and listens to all your wants, needs and concerns. She really helps to bring your wedding envision to life. This is a wonderful Country Club with amazing staff all there to help make your wedding day perfect! The clubhouse has a beautiful light bright women's club room for bride and bridesmaids to get ready in as well as the men's room for the groom and groomsmen. The ceremony site is so pretty. The long staircase makes for a beautiful and dramatic wedding party and bride entrance. We had our cocktail hour on the patio overlooking the golf course. This area is so stunning when the sun is setting. From the patio double doors your guests enter the reception dining room. The room has a full wall of windows overlooking the patio and golf course which allowed full view of the amazing sunset! It also has an open beam wood ceiling with iron chandeliers and a beautiful fireplace. We really enjoyed the flow from the reception room and the outdoor patio as guests could walk about as they enjoyed the outdoor patio bar. The food for our wedding reception was delicious. The staff at Lomas is Superb and will make sure all your wedding day needs are met. This is truly a special place especially for a Wedding Venue!!
