My Husband works there, and recommended it to me over my normal place for tires. I will say, I was impressed. In and out, no tassels. Adrian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I don't expect problems with these tires, but if any should arise, I know where to go. GREAT JOB. Stephanie.

I had the below experience which was not good, however, Hugo the manager called me and made it right. Every business makes mistakes the difference is most do not make the effort to correct them. Props to Hugo and Discount tire for doing the right thing.
I have been a loyal customer of Discount Tires for many years and have generally had positive experiences. However, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received to at Solana Beach.
I called and received a quote for having tires mounted and balanced. I was quoted a price of $152. While this was higher than other shops, I decided to proceed with your service due to the convenience it offered. I made the necessary arrangements for a ride home and planned my day around this appointment.
Upon arrival, I was assisted and went through the entire process with an associate. After informing him of the quoted price, he took more than 10 minutes to check and then informed me that the actual cost would be $208. He explained that the associate who provided the quote had failed to include a $14 per tire charge.
I expressed my concern that quotes given over the phone should be accurate and that the quoted price should be honored. Despite this, the associate refused to honor the initial quote and did not offer an apology for the inconvenience. Given that I was already committed with the ride and other arrangements, I reluctantly agreed to the higher price.
I believe that this experience reflects poorly on Discount Tires. Accurate quotes and respectful customer service are fundamental to maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. Unfortunately, this incident has led to a loss of my trust, and I will no longer be returning to Discount Tires.

Tesla Model Y tire rotation. They used extreme care, lifted it correctly using the pucks and did not scratch the rims. Highly recommend for any Tesla owners. Shout out to Hugo, Austin, Kyle, and Alonso.

Better late than never! I brought my 4Runner in for tire rotation and balance. ETHAN D. saw me standing in line and asked me to come up. He wrote the service request AND THEN brought my SUV into the bay himself. I have noticed an appreciable differnce in the smothness of my ride ever since. Thank you Ethan.

Just a quick warning to anyone thinking about taking high end wheels to this location, I brought in a ~$2000 factory forged BBS wheel to have a tire patched and got it back with scratches on the outer rim lip, gouges on the inner rim from wheel weight removal, and scrapes on the center-bore consistent with overly rough mounting on a balancing machine.
Hoping to save someone else the heartache of having a perfect condition wheel get damaged.
Discount Tire works on everything from economy cars to exotics. They have top of the line mounting and balancing equipment and are entirely capable of removing and mounting tires with NO damage. They also have plastic scrapers for removing wheel weights so as to not damage inner barrels. So, they are recommended by many as the go-to shop when you want it done right. Unfortunately, someone at this particular location simply doesn't take the care that I'd normally expect from Discount Tire.
Discount tire did offer to have the wheel repaired, however as any car enthusiast knows, a refinished wheel won't ever be exactly the same.

Discount Tire in Solana Beach California is terrific! I came in near closing time with a tire that had lost a lot of its air. My first step was to have it checked at their unique and extremely convenient free air check. The young man who was working that job was very efficient and friendly and quickly discovered the source of my trouble: a screw that had found refuge in my tire! I had important travel plans for the next morning and really needed service right then. Hugo, a scheduler, saved my bacon. He got me into the shop promptly; the repair ( which they told would be fine for the life of the tire) was done in very good time; AND IT WAS FREE! Though I had been a long time customer of DT in my home town, this particular tire WAS NOT BOUGHT FROM DT (and Hugo knew that)! I have rarely been as pleased with any automotive service anywhere, ever. I will be a DT customer for life. Not only do they give the kind of incredible service that I have described above, but they have stores EVERYWHERE! That, in itself, is a great reason to choose them. THANK YOU DT!

Yeah did a free tire rotation (these tires were 5 months old) was an absolute scam this guy said I needed new tires. Shame on you guys!

These guys were outstanding. They had the tires I needed for my Tesla and they took me in right away, even though the garage looked full. The prices were half the price of what Tesla wanted to charge me for the same tires. Plus, if anything happens to them, they will replace them with no questions asked. They quoted me 1 hour for the job (I think that is what they are supposed to say) but they were done in about 15 minutes. I'll be bringing my other car here as well.
