It's 7:30am on Tuesday and the store is closed when posted hours are 7am til 12:00am nothing marked saying anything different. Bummer.

Two weeks ago, I went to CVS pharmacy to buy something to recover my face as I was experiencing dryness after traveling outside the country. Then I met Natalie working in the cosmetic store and she recommended a facewash and a cream. Thanks to her, I got my skin as I wanted and recovered the dryness. Thank you so much, Natalie!

Soon as I walked in the atmosphere gave me the creeps. Dim florescent lighting, etc. The men's restroom is disgusting. One of the grossest bathrooms I've ever witnessed. In line with gas station restrooms and this is a store that focuses on health and longevity!!!

Hire people. One person can not run a whole store. I waited 4 mins at self check out needing help. The person beside me left after waiting 5 mins waiting for help with her entire purchase ready to pay. Your customer service is why you stood out. Now you are sprinting to your demise chasing profits.

I wasn't very impressed with this store. Being in Solana Beach, it is in an upscale city of San Diego county. A person walked into the restroom that has no key or keycode with a fullsize, fully loaded backpack and was in the restroom for 20 minutes, I had checked the time that he entered, because I had suspected he probably went in there to bathe in the sink. He was laughing and such while he was in there, probably cellphoning, texting, etc. When I left he was loitering out in front with a bicycle and his pack, sitting right at the door. Inside the store, in the health and beauty aids section, today, 09/23/2023, there was still a sale tag on a shelf item whose sale ended on 09/16/3023. Being less than mile away from the San Diego fairgrounds, as well as the very popular Del Mar racetrack, as well as being in the affluent Solana Beach city, this CVS should be a model store, but it is far from it. It needs a lot of management TLC to get it up to speed to its' surrounds. Its' location does not match the upkeep of the store itself.

By far the absolute BEST customer service I have ever experienced at any CVS location. As many previous comments mention, Cody and the entire pharmacy team ALWAYS provides fast and informative service. I am very grateful for the time effort and energy the entire team always provides me. THANK YOU!!!

Sad place. This store needs new Management, Manager and employees, are rude and not very nice at all. Except for the Pharmacy Department they are very friendly and helpful.

You do not want to count on this pharmacy for your prescriptions. Not only are they extremely rude and condescending, they don't know how to deal with insurance companies or insurance codes or and 5 out of the 6 prescriptions I've had filled here, it's taken multiple phone calls on my part, back and forth to the pharmacy and doctor, to get it straightened out. When they couldn't figure it out I told them I would pay cash for the prescription and they said they needed to receive a denial from my insurance company first, but to do that I would have to have the doctor re-submit something (no clue what). In the meantime it was just sitting there waiting to be filled. And this was just a basic prescription. This is the normal kind of stuff you deal with at this pharmacy. I switched over to them about 5 months ago because my usual pharmacy had run out of my medication and this one was actually closer to my house. I wish I had just waited for it to come available at my last pharmacy. I'm going back to them and will probably bring them flowers and Starbucks gift cards to show my appreciation for them after experiencing this nightmare of a Pharmacy. You don't have time for their games and rudeness, trust me. The guy this morning on the phone: "your doctor didn't give us the code for the insurance and we need it" Me: (after dealing with this every month with them and knowing the doctor gave it to them) "It's fine, I'll pay out of pocket" Him: "like I said 2 seconds ago, we need the code". Thank goodness my doctors office is gracious about the number of times they have to call and deal with these rude clowns.

Seems extraordinarily expensive. It’s just convenient. EDIT: I needed an employee swipe at self checkout and the employee rolled his eyes at me and the situation, then slowly, wordlessly walked over and gave the most depressing swipe. This place is only close to my apartment. I’m glad I’m moving away from the area.

Super super high for convenience items such as deodorant. i.e. they sell two packs for $14, amazon you get the exact same brand 6-pack for $12
