I was in the store today at 10:30am to buy small minnows but they ran out. I went to the cashier which was a Hispanic lady and asked to see when they will get some more in. she ignored me and pretended like she didn't hear me. I always buy minnows there but now I will go buy at the other place .

This historic little convenience store in the little town of Snelling has a surprising amount of usable supplies. RV-ers, boaters and fishing folks come in for bait, fishing licenses, BBQ supplies, etc. and locals come in for staples like flour, milk, butter, bread, soap, small hardware supplies. They have a lot of frozen items, cold drinks, snacks, beer, a coffee bar, liquor, ice and ice cream. Gas station pump outside. Clerks are always friendly. The name says cash but they accept debit and credit too. The prior owners had a meat butcher but that is now closed - but they still have a few fresh veggies and fruit.

Boland's Market is a convenient place to stop for fuel when going to Don Pedro or Lake McClure. Also, a nice place to stop for an ice-cold drink at the end of the day. The people in the store are nice and sometimes very talkative. It is nice to see small country stores like Boland's Market.
