The only reason this location got a 1 star from me is because of Donald, as for every one else in the branch they get zero stars. The bank tellers at this location are the worse I have ever encountered, they are even worse than BOFA and that's pretty sad . From day 1 noticed these bank employees from the tellers to the financial consultant need more and better training on how to deal with customer service and how to handle people's monies. I gave them a chance because Donald, he is the one that deserves more money because it looks like he is the one that knows how to treat customers and make them feel comfortable with leaving their money in this bank. That's the only reason my money and all my assets are still in this bank. I came in today and received the worst service from a bank teller by the name of Nathan. I came to deposit a check for my daughter and this is the fourth check that she's deposited in the bank and I asked him not to put a hold on it. I explain to him that another financial advisor/employee of Wescom from Thousand Oaks told me that they don't have to hold it for six days due to the fact that I myself is a member of Wescom and I am on my daughters account, and also due to the fact that my daughter has deposited her fourth check in her account that still has plenty of money in it and there's no reason for them to hold it. This teller told me to go to Thousand Oaks. Then, I cannot believe my ears that this useless employee here at this bank and this is not my first encounter with him and that's why I call him useless because he really is told me to go to another bank then when I proceeded to ask the manager the system manager Esau came to the window and told me the same thing while I was speaking to the system manager Nathan wasn't back at him, smiling and laughing as if this was a joke to him and I can assure you it's not a joke to the lack of training on customer service in the lack of training for his job showed at that moment on his face. I have ran businesses, and I have managed many businesses, including banks, and I would never keep an associate that treat customers this way, laughs in their face and tells them to go to another bank, instead of explaining to the customer, the policies and procedures. When express the system manager that an associate at the Thousand Oaks Spring gym told me that it could be done due to the fact that I have been a Wescom member and have multiple counts with more money than my daughters little check that they don't have to put a hold on it. The manager proceeded to tell me that I don't know why he said that that's wrong I said OK well that's not my problem that I got the wrong information that is your bank in your company not training correctly so I would like for you to do what I was told, the system manager then told me you can go to US Bank in cash it if you want the money right away so there's a second person now telling me to go to another bank to go somewhere else because they cannot help me again my daughters check is under $1000 she had more than the check in her account. The hold is for six days you mean to tell me you have to hold money under $1000 when she has money in her account to suffice the money that she's depositing but yet you want to hold it for six days. when in fact, myself deposited a check over $3000 and there was no hold on it after expressing that to him and explaining that to him he stated well her account is a student account and it's under 30 days. I expressed him that I am. I am the account as well , there's no need for you to hold the check for six days I said fine at least release some money for her to utilize. They said they can't do that then that's when I blow up. I am not gonna let a useless, uneducated, untrained teller, laughing my daughters face because she can't deposit her hard earned money into her account and use it. They have to hold it for six days. Are you serious? I asked for the branch, managers, name, and number I also ask

I had to retrieve a bank statement from 20 years ago. With one phone call and a trip to the closest branch, I had it in hand (and they waived the fee). Why would anyone bank with a commercial rip-off bank? Credit Unions are the way to go, and Wescom is one of the best! Thank you, Esau, for your excellent customer service.

I have banked with them over 20 years. I have bought cars with them. So easy to get a loan. I tell them what car I and I've picked it right up at the Pasadena credit up. No haggling with a sales shark. I have gotten a home loan. They are fast, friendly, and courteous. The Simi is a small office and is super easy to do business with.

Never had a problem with them they're always nice. I made a mistake on something to credit my account right away and it's better than dealing with large banks I don't really care about you. I don't have any of them off. You know the top four.

We've been members for decades, going back to when it was Marquardt Credit Union. We appreciate so many things about Our Simi Valley Wescom branch, and Wescom in general, because they are convenient, offer a variety of services, including notaries, and are always respectful and professional.

Worst bank in Simi Valley they will ruin your credit score by making unclear over draft fees as soon as you stop banking with them

Very rude. My grandmother and I both had accounts and she passed away last year during Covid and I gave them the death certificate and about six months later not only did they close her account they closed my account as well. That's one of the problems that I've had the other is is when someone writes their account number on the check they should be going by that not giving someone a problem.

Just wanted to mention the excellent financial services and advice given today by Donald and Daniel. I’ve been with Wescom for over 10+ years. Always great service at the Simi branch. I highly recommend this credit union.
