“I brought 3 of the kittens I fostered/rescued in hard-sided pet carriers to this location to be fixed. I waited until they were at least 4 months old so they don't develop any health issues later.
When I picked them up after their surgeries, they were groggy and seemed to have forgotten they were siblings. They were hissing at each other for a few days until the medication from the surgery was out of their system.
I separated the 3 in individual crates and used paper pellets for them to potty on (so it wouldn't stick to their incision sites). As days passed, one of the three kittens healed fine. One of the female kittens had liquid forming at the incision area (pouch-like) and and the male kitten's private was inflamed, which was worrisome.
I was told the liquid formed because she was active and moving around a lot (she was in a bigger crate). The male kitten didn't have a cone on and I was told it was due to him licking the incision site. The vet instructed me to put a cone on him; the inflammation eventually went away. I'd say both kittens took about 1-2 months for their incision areas to heal.
Overall, I had a good experience at this place. The price was affordable and the staff were very busy, but they were courteous and answered all my questions.”

“Great but sad experience. We lost our family pet at no fault to them. They made the experience as pleasant as possible and helped with the process. They were great and even sent a card to us signed by the staff. We had our pet cremated through them also.”

“I want to counteract the one star review left in the Fall of 2023. Dr. Spitzer was just at my house this afternoon to put down our senior dog via Lap of Love. She was wonderful. I met her outside at her car, and we talked a little bit about the decision before she came in and I was able to tell her some details about Rocket. We talked more with her as a family when she came inside. At no point did we feel rushed or that she wasn’t completely gentle with him. She explained everything she was going to do before doing it and then again before she did each step. She was talking to him throughout and she also paid attention to our other dog who was curious/stressed and growling at her. (He stopped growling the minute Rocket passed). I felt the service was excellent and exactly what I had envisioned. At no point did Rocket appear stressed or worried about what was happening.”

“We just moved to Simi from out of state a few weeks ago. We woke up one Sunday morning to my cat having an urgent butt problem ?. I was so worried that no place would be open but I was relieved to find this pet hospital was open and they got her in for treatment right away! I'm happy to say that 2 weeks later she is all healed and her cone has been removed. I wasn't planning to need to find her new vet so quickly but life happened and I'm glad we found this place for all our future kitty Doctor needs. Thank you for all your help and kindness. ?”
