I called in the morning to make an afternoon appointment as I had to be somewhere later in the day. I took a seat and no one told me they were running late, to choose a color, etc. Finally, after 20 minutes, I was told to sit at a station where I waited even longer. While I was waiting, another frustrated customer left and said she'd never come back. Someone finally came over to start my manicure but she was so busy engaging in conversation with the staff that she wasn't even watching my nails as she prepped them for my manicure. Then she abruptly got up with no explanation whatsoever and left me sitting, waiting and confused. Finally, another technician came over and told me to wait a minute as she proceeded to attend to something else while I once again waited. At this point I knew I'd be late for my next appointment. The second technician was not at fault - she did a lovely job on my nails - but the management is terrible and tried to blame me for their scheduling incompetence. They added $10 to my bill for removing bio gel - a cost they never explained - but ended up deducting it because they knew that I received horrible customer service. So there's that, but I'd never go there again. Too many other places in town that honor appointments and communicate to customers so they feel valued.

Jennie at Today’s Nail Spa did the most beautiful nails for me for my wedding day. She’s so sweet and very gentle. I appreciated her taking the time with me to make sure of what I wanted. I had sent her a photo of my wedding dress and she came up with a design that matched perfectly. I was recommended to her by my sister, whose nails always look incredible when Jennie does them! This is the best nail salon!! Ashley is such a great nail technician! She’s kind and her attention to detail is excellent. I really enjoy having my nails done with her.
My nails never hurt after having my manicures done with her. She is gentle and always asks if I’m okay, I really appreciate that.
This place is a joy! Thank you for taking care of me and helping me feel confident!

Bad experience here! They told me I had to replace my acrylic nails because they were loose AFTER they did a fill and charged me $50!!!! I went home and 4 nails fell off a few minutes later! Just buy your own nails and accessories on Amazon and do them yourself! Stop getting ripped off!

Lina did my pedi. She was very sweet and did a good job. They did my my mani while I was getting my pedi, which sort of ruined the relaxation aspect. It was distracting. This was my first time here and when she said “chair mani” I didn’t protest, but I probs should have said no. My mani was not very good and the French tip chipped right off a couple hours later. They did try to upsell me on gel but I declined. There was a lot of loud talking between the manicurists which made the ambiance seem chaotic. Reasonably clean, but pricey for the quality of work and limited relaxation.

This is my go to place in Simi for pedicures. I love the #3 with the salt scrub, massage and hot stones. I have only done manicures a few times (gel and recently gel extensions) and the manicures don't seem to include a hand massage like the pedicures do. But the nails look nice and last a long time. The staff is very friendly.

This place is horrible I had a hair in my nails after my French tip.My friend also got a French tip and it was super uneven. Another girl tried to fix it but just added another layer on top, didn't fix anything smudges and random line above the French tip. Super rough with everything and overall under a 1 star rating

Second time coming in and having Nancy do my nails. I wanted to do a cute design for the holidays and she executed it perfectly. I have been looking for a new nail place and I will say I am very happy with my past outcomes here!

I'm updating the review to include the fact that I wasn't told to wait 15 minutes. If that was the case, I would have definitely waited. The salon was NOT busy either. This is an attempt by the salon rep to diminish my review and excuse their rude customer service.

Moon is an absolute gem, and very thorough. Everyone is extremely talented at Today's Nail Spa. I love the BioGel formula and it keeps my nails really strong and healthy. It's an upbeat atmosphere and everyone is super friendly. The salon is always clean and their equipment is top notch! I recommend the #4 Pedi for ultimate relaxation. If you pay cash they give you a sweet discount too!

I never leave this salon disappointed. Jenny is my nail tech and she's the best. She is very detailed and is a protectionist. She is able to do the most intricate designs, not to mention the way she shapes nails is incomparable. Definitely try her out if you haven't already.
