Rick, The Bike Guy, is the best. I’m a casual rider, not a pro, and some shops, if not most, seem to have “attitudes”. Not this shop. No matter how simple the problem or question I might have, they are always friendly and helpful. They are experienced and knowledgeable though for the bigger jobs as well. Their sales prices are also very reasonable.*Followup* So sad to find out the Rick recently passed away. The store is still open so please go there for your biking needs.

This place sucks went here to look for a new bike for my kid and some fat sweaty guy who was way more into talking about girls on the internet with some meth heads to help and everything I asked about he was condensending and just a plain rude ass.wont be gong here agian.

Rick sold our family bikes and also serviced them for years. Rick grew up in our neighborhood and was friends with me and all 6 of our sons. I'm sorry to share that Rick passed away this morning. The kids bikes had been in storage for over 2 years and needed a good tuneup. The Bike Guy came to the rescue, he fixed up both bikes and got them running like brand new! Prices are very reasonable and the service was awesome! We will be coming back...

I needed new crank bearings for my beach cruiser. All the other bike shops have the word "Pro" in their name. To me that says expensive.Knowing that The Bike Guy has been in Simi 35+ years, I went to him first.I am so glad I did! I expected to pay at least $100 for the parts and labor.The Bike Guy told me it was an easy procedure and explained how to do it.I was able to do it myself. Total repair cost? $6.00 for the new bearings!!You sir, have a new loyal customer!

Purchased a few tires/parts from here before. Super chill and friendly owner operating the place. When it came time to needing my bike repaired he went above and beyond to have it ready and working by when I needed it.. the next day! Definitely recommend The Bike Guy

I had to fix our daughter's bike tire and everyone recommended the Bike Guy. The job took about 5 minutes and the tire was fixed at a very reasonable price. Whether it's a custom build, service or repairs you can rest assured that you're getting friendly knowledge assistance and top notch service They have a great selection of reasonably priced bicycles of all kinds as well as e-bikes.
