“My second experience shopping. It's getting easier to find what I like and know I'm getting a good price. I'm used to Trader Joe's, so I'm making a comparison to their prices and quality. Scored on grass fed butter, flatbread, tortilla chips, almond milk and butternut squash. Hope they are good. Trying the sourdough bread, its over a dollar more pricier. Not a joyful shopping experience, a bit out of my way, very basic, but I'm there for low prices on healthy products, so giving a 5!”
“I live in Camarillo but I always get my family’s prescriptions here. Everyone is awesome especially Harvey. He is highly efficient and super helpful. A bit far from my house but my drive is all worth it!Thanks for all you do, Harvey!! Keep up the good work!”
“Vallarta is a great place to shop. They have so many products you just can't find at a place like Vons or Ralph's.
Obviously, the Tortillas are incredible, and fresh. The selection of masa is huge as well if you're inclined to make your own. The baked goods are amazing: both Mexican pastries & conchas, as well as quality cakes and fruit tarts.
One of my favorite things about Vallarta is the meat department. There is so much less waste than American grocers. You can get pig ears, soup bones, chicken feet - all the off cuts that you need for some recipes but are otherwise hard to find, and I love that.
Top it off with a massive produce section and a delightful prepared foods area, and really I think the theme is a commitment to freshness and quality.
Vallarta is a market that makes me happy when I shop there, and if you love to cook, I think you'll feel the same.”
“Overall decent selection of Aldi-branded items at this location. The meat and bread aisles were depleted and in serious need of restocking.Amused to note Aldi, a German company, is fully on-board with U.S. shopper's autumn pumpkin spice passion.”
