The worst Spectrum location I’ve ever been! Never go there! Employees do things so slowly and not ending! Wait forever and they’re still doing worthless things.

Great cellphone service, Internet is off n on a pain. The employees are WONDERFUL! The cable price is ridiculous and has been canceled. But still a customer for phone n Internet service.

Spectrum is a horrible monopoly. Look at the copy paste "owner responses" That's what the customer service is like. I'd take my business elsewhere if they didn't have such a monopoly.

This Spectrum store is, by far, the worst customer service experience ever. I moved from another county and had to return a modem. However, unbeknownst to me, an appointment is required otherwise expect to be ignored. there's a true champ of staff incompetence with a name tag of "Christina." A real passive/aggressive jerk. Thankfully, I will never deal with Spectrum again. I would leave a ZERO if permitted.

Bundled a mobile line with existing Internet service. Transferring my number was painless and the customer techs were helpful. Much easier than dealing with AT&T.

My friend asked me to go with her to the Simi Valley Spectrum store to e box she no longer was no longer using. Of course I did...her husband had died less than a month prior and and Spectrum told her on the phone she needed a copy of the death certificate to get late fees cancelled etc. When it was our turn, she couldn't get the story out without crying. I immediately spoke for her and told CHAD the situation. He paused, expressed sincere condolences and took care of the returned box. Then CHAD, very respectfully said that he was aware she had a lot on her mind, but when she was able he could help her with a lower bill. She agreed. And CHAD worked quickly, efficiently and effectively and lowered her payment by $40.00. CHAD is truly an asset to Spectrum. I am deeply grateful to him, as is my friend.

I constantly read the negative feedback about Spectrum. People saying they don't get good service, or the internet, home phone & mobile service stinks. I can't speak for everyone but I disagree with their comments.I don't have those problems. Many years ago, they bought out the contract I had with AT&T. I consider AT&T the worst when it comes to customer service & their plans. U-Verse was the best until AT&T put me with Direct TV, which they unfortunately own. The service went downhill. I was constantly talking to AT&T reps from India who had no clue what they were doing. AT&T loves to raise prices within a month or two. Always telling me they're upgrading their TV & Internet service. I constantly had to fight with them to agree with the contract they put me in. Adding junk channels I don't watch or understand. Towards the end of my relationship with them, they put me on a new two-year contract instead of one. Then they threatened to fine me if I left. Spectrum saved me from them & paid the AT&T contract off. AT&T still tries to ask me to rejoin them, I refuse & decline as they haven't changed how they serve their customers. I've been with Spectrum for many years. I used to have their TV service. But once the contract was up, the prices slowly went up. That's when I switched to YouTube TV. I have an Android box & can download many apps that offer free TV and movies. I only have Spectrum internet & home phone. The home phone service I rarely use because I use mostly my smartphone. The internet on the other hand, is great. Spectrum gave me a free upgrade internet box. My download speeds are now around 350mbps. To me that's faster than the previous. There are outages. But who doesn't get those? I don't complain. Also understand, your devices must be able to handle the download speeds. If you have old TVs, internet boxes, phones, tablets, PCs, laptops, gaming consoles, etc., they won't get the same speeds as the new boxes & equipment. So if you get a chance, upgrade your stuff, so you'll get the internet or mobile speeds you're paying for. I came to this location hoping to lower the Spectrum price. Recently, they raised the price on my monthly bill by ten dollars. The reps gave me a promotion which lowered the price from 15 to 20 dollars for one year. I was very happy. New internet companies are moving into Simi Valley, so while I wait for them, I'll be sticking to Spectrum. In the end, I get great customer service from this location. I can't speak for everyone, but from my experience, it's been superb so far. I get fantastic internet speeds & phone service with no problems. I'd rather be with Spectrum over AT&T. If I have to speak to someone over the phone, at least the reps are here in America & not in India. I never want to return to AT&T. They still provide slow internet speeds, they still break their own contracts by raising monthly prices & then tell their customers the prices go up because of upgrades. Spectrum at least is more reliable than them in my opinion. I'm staying with Spectrum.

not satisfied w Spectrum since we got it a few months ago . Found out we had been charged LA county taxes while living in Ventura even though service address is Ventura Co . They took old drivers license info and based it on that. Thank God we figured this out after only a few months. Their DVR system is designed for nothing but to make you pay and frustrate the heck out of you . Outages were frequent . Never had an outage w ATT it was just super expensive . Spectrum for $170 we were getting less channels than we are now streaming it . took 3 phone calls to get the TV to work several days ago. their service dept is not geared toward service but dealing with AI that isn't intelligent at all . Wouldn't allow me to speak to a live person. Third attempt got a rep who had 15 years seniority and gave us valuable info that allowed us to cut the cable cord . Also cut over $40 off our monthly bill. now just need to find altetative wifi provider and drop them completely .

Wow, terrible doesn't quite describe spectrum in the Simi Valley town center. For some reason spectrum has decided that the Apple store business model is conducive to good business. There's a reason the Apple store closed in the Simi Valley town center and following their business model might not be the brightest of ideas, ignoring customers and having a smarter than thou attitude does not help the situation. it makes it even worse when you make an appointment did you have to sign in at their little digital kiosk only to find out that you don't have an appointment. So here I sit in the lobby signed in as a walk in customer. Wait for 35 minutes before I have enough. Thanks again I won't be coming back.

It's kind of like the DMV. Waiting to return a cable box I had to uninstall/install myself as part of an upgrade. I am sitting in the lobby watching a store associate moving empty boxes from one location of the store to the other (guess boxes are more important than me). Already not impressed. With Spectrum, it's pretty much you do all the work (uninstalling, installing, returning, driving waiting). My Spectrum representative said he couldn't give me an account generated receipt as it was already notated the box is out of service. Should I have just thrown the old cable box in the trash instead of driving to the store? He gave me a handwritten receipt. The "no service" Spectrum business model sucks from the top down.

UPDATE: The "Response from the Owner" (below) is laughable. I no longer have a Facebook or a Twitter account. I have no interest in spending any more time on this matter, including going through the Spectrum community website to do your jobs for you. Plus, what the hell does ^RJR mean?Another disappointing experience at this store. All I needed to do was simply return our modem after closing our account. This took nearly 20 minutes of waiting for a two minute transaction. Spectrum needs to make clear the importance of "checking-in" at their store kiosk. Half a dozen customers lined-up to do so only after one of the staff (manager?) made an announcement to those of us sitting around waiting. Ironically, this didn't expedite things.

I have been with Spectrum for many years for home internet. They kept raising their rates and would not work with me at all on the cost. I found a provider for 1/3 less in cost and cancelled my service. The rep said they would now be willing to lower my rate now that I have another option that is way cheaper. I declined and cancelled 2 days into the new billing cycle. They said they would not prorate the bill and insisted that I owe for the entire month that I used only 2 days into. I figured out the prorated rate - monthly amount divided by 15 and paid that. They still say that I owe the balance. This company are crooks. A good company would waive the 2 days of use in hopes that I might come back some day. I would never go back to them no matter what.
