The skateboard hall of fame is an awesome place to hang out and feel like a kid again. Todd has done such a great job maintaining the historic significance of skateboarding in Southern California and the west coast.

The Skateboarding Hall of Fame Skateboard Museum is an important archive of skateboards and skateboarding related art and ephemera spanning many decades. It's also a nice indoor skate park, skateboard shop, and safe oasis for anyone interested in immersing themselves in skateboarding history and culture. During our visit we met the the owner, Todd, and found him to be incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. I recommend setting aside a least one hour -more if you're planning to skate- to fully take in this exhibit.

My wife and were walking around after eating dinner at the town center, and we wandered in here. Todd the owner was super rad and spent like 30 minutes just chatting with us about the place and the history. It was really awesome to see the art of skateboarding being curated by someone who obviously has a passion for it. You could tell in the way he was explaining everything from the decks on the wall to the art that they were displaying ( I was in love with the Chad Muska art) that he was exactly where he needed to be. We really enjoyed the time we spent there and walked away with an awesome shirt. I highly recommend checking it out and supporting this local museum. We will back.

I came in looking for some grip tape and was shocked by how awesome this place is. The dude behind the counter was super chill, he installed the grip tape for me free of charge and he has TONS of cool stuff to check out. If you're a skater from southern California or even just raised here in general you gotta see this place. 6 out of 5 stars.

My family was in LA for a week and found out the Hall of Fame was close by. We had to make the 30 minute ish drive to Simi Valley to check it out. My two sons rude and the older knows a lot of the history of skateboarding so it was fun for him to basically be able to see the evolution of skateboards all in one place. There is an actual skate park inside of the building that cost $15 fir an all day pass. And they even have a mini tech deck skate park! Check the hours before you go since they are different than the normal 8-5:00. It is located in a shipping mall so you have to park and then walk back down a walkway to get to it. You cannot actually see it from the road but it is there. Go down the walkway between California chicken grill and red robin. Definitely worth the visit! The collection in the hall of fame is all one man's private collection. It is amazing! Todd was friendly and great to talk too. Go support skateboarding and Todd's efforts to share it with the world and c honor those who have helped make it great!

Love this place! I am old skater from Colorado and it was awesome to visit and take in all the boards and gear from my heyday times in the 70's & 80's. But fear not, they have tons from later eras and even an amazing selection of early stuff from the 60's and before. So much fun and such nice people there. Can't wait to visit again!
