Just purchased a custom 3500HD, wanted help to reset a setting with service since sales stated they would know more. Older gentleman in service with 11 years at that dealer states it's common sense and something you do at home. Mind you I just spent nearly 100k here, and this is the service you provide? What a joke! Please believe these bad reviews that you see and avoid this place.

The process started off fine, I needed a car but I also was anxious about the whole thing since I haven't bought a new car on my own before. They showed me a variety of cars but then it got really pushy, and despite me logically trying to reason out if I could afford a new car, the dealer kept "solving" my predicaments as if he were going to help me with my payments himself or knew my situation. The finance worker (with the figurines & collectibles in his office since I forgot his name) in the dealership was extremely rude, any genuine concerns I had he'd blow me off and as I was trying to read the contract he said I didn't need to read it and I should hurry up...what??? I had only been in his office for maximum of 10 minutes and he was in a rush, for what? It's too much for me to throughly understand my payments and what I'm getting into?I came to find out that they upcharged me on the car by at least $7k, mentioned it would include floor mats (and did not include them), forgot to install the steering wheel heating in the car which it's supposed to come with, and best of all I'm at critically low 3% oil life when I've only driven barely 1000 miles which means they didn't actually fill the oil reservoir. I had to go in for a walk-in service one day and the lady at the service desk was so inconvenienced by me, as if I walked in on the CEO who's extremely busy and asked her for a ridiculous favor or something. Despite me saying it's totally fine I can wait as long as necessary or even come back to be helped later, she had a horrid attitude. She told me it would take at least 2-3 days for my car to be serviced since the service reason sounds complex, but upon the crew actually taking a look at my car...it was done in 20 min. Okay lol?I've followed up so many times with them about my concerns and they say "someone will be in contact with you!" Never contact me. I follow up again, "oh let me see what we can do...ok ok we'll give you a call about this since bla bla bla isn't here." Never followed up. "ohhh we'll order those mats for you, yeah they were supposed to be included. Someone will text and email you in a week or so once we get them." Guess what? No one called or emailed or texted or anything. I tried to resolve things more than 5 times. I can't even pinpoint the issue as being one or two people because I've tried to get help from so many people, it's literally a whole building of people who absolutely hate helping people and are only in it for the money. This was a really unpleasant, time consuming and stressful experience. As soon as you buy the car, they essentially want nothing to do with you again. I was really in need of a car which is the only reason I settled, but this experience makes me not even want to step foot in this dealership again. Despite trying to meet them in the middle and try to communicate via whatever is most efficient for them (for example I'd ask if they prefer to text regarding the issues I'm having or if I should just await to hear from them via email, as an attempt to not rush them and be considerate because I don't want to be annoying) no one actually cares to help if a sale isn't involved. I unfortunately STRONGLY do not recommend this dealership, not even to a foe. (btw my problems with the car still haven't been resolved :)) just going to find help elsewhere.)

After visiting several dealerships all around LA County, shopping for a 2023 Chevy EVU, my husband and I got the job done at Simi Valley Chevy. Jose and Rich made it worth the long drive. Fair, honest, efficient, knowledgable, and friendly, it was about as painless as buying a new car can be. I emphasize honest, because we had other dealerships screw around with numbers and basically waste our time. Not here. Do your research, but when it comes time to actually making the purchase, these guys will make a fair deal.

I recently leased a new Silverado from SVC, the staff was friendly, finance guy wasn't pushy, came out of there with the deal that I wanted. Even after a little hiccup on the delivery Marcus went the extra mile to accommodate my schedule and turn the situation into a positive experience.

extremely unprofessional place, just a simple look at their website and it shows you over 50 chevy malibus available, i call to check the availability and they said that the car i was looking at is a car that their service team drives around. This place falsely advertises and "Tony" in sales is of NO help what so ever. The qualifications to be a car salesman seem to be getting lower and lower. Don't buy from this place trust me, you won't have a good time.

I have been eyeing on the bolt euv LT for few weeks by now. One of the dealer that I contacted me is Simi valley chevy. On 4/3 they contacted me telling me one of the LT has arrived, as you can see in the picture, they have a $2995 markup, i asked if they are willing to remove the markup, which they reply "i have like 100 ppl on the waitlist so no we won't be removing the markup" I say thank but I will pass due to budget issue.Fast toward to today(4/5). A salesman named Christian texted and call me, this time they say price is 32k but "can make me a deal" even after i told him i will be driving 60 miles and hope that he cam tell me what the deal is" which require me to show up to discuss. I figure it isnt going to be anything good, but it never hurt to go, so I drove 60 miles to simi valley chevy. When I arrived at the dealer, i walked into the building and a red ahirt guy named "Tony" greet me, I told him that someone named Christian contacted me regarding the bolt euv, first thing spit out from his mouth was "the car was pre-sold" already. So....they contact me to check out the car when the car is pre-sold already? I questioned him why they contact me when the car is pre-sold already. Tony got mad and just said "the car is sold, goodbye."Eventually the sales manager came out and apologize, try to divert our questions by asking us like if i want to pay cash or finance etc....I know this is probably not going to end well but I just play along, test drive the cars and ask for loan options. When the manager came back with the offer paper. They add the 3k markup, a 5k extended wareanty, a 2.5k avas security system, ending in 42k after tax. This is a clear aign that they have no intention of making this sales(probably because they presold the car already)!? I asked about the 2.5k avas system and they said it is installed already and cannot be taken off, which nowhere does it even say on their web site now the window sticker. A shady forced addon, and when I confront the manager about their dishonest practice because its not showing on the site listing, window sticker, it wasnt even mentioned when Chriatian called me(he said car price was 32k).This is definitely the worst I've had. First they contact me to check out a car that's already pre sold, they also try to force add on thats not mention in the listing nor the window aticker. A complete shady business and must avoid.

One star for the Service Center... I bought a used 2021 2SS 1LE Camaro from out of state a couple years ago... I used Simi Valley Chevrolet to help me sort the car out as they were the closest dealer to me. I had 4 visits here. Each time, the service center is really over-crowded and slow. We're talking all day for an oil change.... or all day to spend 10 seconds on the car trying to "address a customer concern". That part is pretty bad... The two worst things that happened to me:1. Had the car there for a Oil Change/Rear Differential Fluid change... they used the wrong fluid on the car for the Rear Differential Fluid change.... (75W-140) instead of (75W-90).... I didn't realize it until now.... about 1 1/2 years later. Also worth noting, the fluid they did use cost about 50% more instead of the fluid that should have been used. 2. My Electric Power Steering rack temporarily went out once... I brought the car to them and they diagnosed it within 5 seconds of their scan tool being plugged in... they agreed to replace the entire Electric Power Steering rack under warranty... never happened. I kept in touch with my Service Advisor who kept telling there were parts delays, which was fair enough... but then she stopped giving me updates and that was the end of it. I was only provided updates when I would ask, until that completely stopped. So they take forever to do simple service, sometimes they use the wrong fluids, and even better... sometimes they don't do anything and won't follow through.I realize the job isn't easy and I respect anyone that works in this industry... which is why I left names out of this public post, but I will tell you there's other places that do it better than this place. Thank you for being the motivation needed for me to try something else.

After searching very hard for a Chevy Bolt EUV online and at several dealerships, I finally got exactly what I was looking for at the Simi Valley Chevrolet. After test driving the car with Marcus, he and the finance manager were able to offer me an amazing deal. They were super upfront and accommodating when it came to making the sale while respecting my price range.Extra props to Marcus who sold me the car! He is a super nice guy and was able to answer all questions I had about the car.If you're looking to get a car, definitely consider this dealership.

I called ahead of time to check about availability for a Silverado battery. They had one in stock(AC Delco) and much cheaper than O'reilly or Autozone and an oem part too!David helped me out at the parts counter and was very helpful, friendly and informative about the 3 1/2 year warranty and necessary paperwork I needed to keep. I've been in the service industry for 27 years and he's the guy you want on your team! cheers!

After my second visit for another balljoint slipping out of the upper a arm. I am still left with an unsafe, unreliable vehicle. Even after passing a "certified" saftey inspection. This problem is caused by a pre-existing condition that was sold to me. The only person who was helpful was Jessica in service department, like last time she did a great job keeping me informed and actually answer's the phone. Joe apparently no longer works there, but still owes me compensation money from the first time. The only convenient part of this dealership for me is i work within walking distance.

Sorry for the lengthy review but my experience deserves a few extra words and a 2nd post... Let me start off by saying I've been an owner of a Chevy for the past 7 years, so when I decided to get another car my mind was made up on what make and model I was looking for before I even began the car process. I had already spoken with multiple dealerships regarding this vehicle including the one I bought my first Chevy from but the first time I spoke with LaShawn on the phone, I knew I wanted to make sure I gave him my business!! Not only was he a man of his word and called me back when he said he was going to, but he also made the extra effort to ensure he reached out to me just to give me a heads up that the time frame he initially promised a call back would be later than expected. Absolutely amazing customer service!!! (Some of the best I've experienced EVER and being in sales for several years, I don't say this lightly). By the time I had come in to the dealership, the deal was essentially made. Not only did I get my Dream Car in my preferred color but also due to the tight time restraints I was under that day, my schedule was completely respected and I was in & out so quick it didn't settle until the next day that I actually had purchased a new vehicle! LaShawn, Tony & Isiah took great care of me and the entire staff even those I didn't directly interact with were super friendly, alert & prompt. They all spoke and made sure I was comfortable as soon as I walked in, I immediately felt as though I was apart of the family!! I will definitely be having my car serviced by them, even though there are multiple Chevrolet dealerships that are closer to my house. For me an experience like the one I had, has been 2nd to none and for an expensive purchase like a new car you definitely want to feel valued and not just another # to meet quota. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new Chevrolet. Thank you the entire Simi Valley Chevrolet Team, you all made me feel as though I made the right decision in purchasing from you.

I was searching for a Chevy bolt for my Dad, and I want to share my experience. I have been a resident of Simi for over 22 years, and I take pride and giving my business to Simi businesses. That is why I decided to go to the Simi Valley Chevrolet dealership. I was greeted by a sales individual named Marcus Jamerson. Marcus was well-mannered, not too pushy, but very eager to help me, a great salesperson. However, when I went inside, I was handed off to what they call a closer, and unfortunately, my experience went south. To Simi Valley Chevrolet ownership. If you guys get this review, please work on your finances, and sales managers have them be more compassionate to their consumers and be ready to give the best deal, and not play the car salesman's game. I bought a car, but it wasn't from the Simi dealership. I went to someone else, and when I told him to give me his best deal, they did. It

I came to this dealership to look at a specific vehicle listed on the website. The salesman told me there was a 5k mark up on the truck that wasn't shown on the website. Upon talking to Joe (General Manager) he came to an agreeable contract, however, he added in a 2k gps which I was not told about prior. I wanted to research this very expensive GPS before deciding. The next day, I called the dealer and spoke with Sales Manager John Taylor. I told John about my agreement with Joe and said I would like to purchase the truck. John was condescending and told me I was crazy for believing they would actually honor a deal that Joe had offered me. I told John I just want to talk about my options, but he shut me down quickly. ( I was willing to to pay the full amount, but he was so insulting so quickly, I never had a chance to even get that far.) John said my offer from the day before was no longer valid and the price of the truck was now 7k more than our original agreement. That's 7k more than the advertised price online. Later that day, I got an automated email from Joe stating his goal was to have every customer treated with "courtesy and respect". What a joke... Between the hidden fees and John bullying customers, I will never come to their dealership again. A week later, I purchased a Dodge Ram from a different dealer for the purchase price with no games.. just a set price. Joe isn't a bad guy... but how John Taylor became a sales manager is beyond me... insulting customers does no good for either party. If this dealership is going to keep John around, they should definitely invest in some customer service classes for him.
