This guy seems like a great mechanic. I have been desperate for a new trustworthy mechanic. I read these reviews, came & chatted & asked about several services I need. I saved up the money to get my brakes done & just called to schedule an appointment to bring my car in. I got denied because I don't have a ride away from the shop. It's a weekday. He didn't even wait for me to think of any options, just yelled at me that there is "NO WHILE YOU WAIT SERVICE!!" It kind of surprised me & gave me a bit of a startle. Maybe he's having a bad day. It is Monday. Regardless, he's busy enough to not care about getting new customers. Just make sure you have your ride lined up before calling, I guess. I'll be going somewhere where they don't yell at me for wanting to give them a lot of money!

I can't say enough good things about Andy and his services. Best mechanic I've come across in over 20 years of driving. You won't find better service anywhere else!

Best mechanic I’ve come across in a long time. He explains the issue. Doesn’t try to upsell you unnecessary work or use fear to inspire a high price tag/bill. Doesn’t overcharge and gets the job done! Wish I could write a 1 page paper on how good Andy is and how highly I’d recommend him to anyone needing a good mechanic.

Andy (i think!) is awesome. I took my car in during my lunch break (i work somewhat nearby) after i called and got insane quotes from other places in the area. Simi Valley Auto Care gave me the most reasonable quote and was so fast and efficient. Andy even was able to pick me up from my work after due to the walk being way farther than i thought and i was carrying too many things. He's a very professional, nice, and honest mechanic who didn't try to finagle me out of $40 extra just because I'm a girl. His shop is around the back in a small alleyway, which is easy to find. I will be going here from now on for my car issues. He was nice enough to make sure my fluids and stuff were topped off and that the car didn't have any other issues. Def a hidden gem...literally.

The check engine light started flashing, my car started jerking, and of course I was going uphill on the 118 freeway.I had that moment many of us do, where I know I need a mechanic, but I don’t know where the heck to turn because I don’t want to get ripped off or deceived. Nor do I want to pay dealership prices.Luckily, my friend led me to a great mechanic.Andy was courteous, honest, and did a great job getting my car fixed up.He is now my go-to mechanic. I was stuck on the side of the road!! He saved me I just picked up my Amazon shift and he tied up the piece that fell and did it within minutes. Nicest and fastest service.

Was visiting town borrowing a friend's car when the starter failed from this crazy Simi heat. Not knowing any mechanics, I towed it here in the late evening on a gamble and took a chance with Andy. Needless to say, I called the next morning and Andy was immediately on top of it. I authorized his diagnostic and he concurred that the suspected failing starter was the culprit. He had it replaced and ready to go late that day. Really great service, great fair price, and definitely will recommend.Service: Auto maintenance

I have an old truck that suddenly lost the power steering. I looked on Yelp, saw the great reviews, and muscled my way over to the shop. Andres was more than happy to help me as a walk-in. Within the hour, I received an estimate and an explanation of what he needed to do to get the truck back on the road again. In addition, I mentioned I was having trouble with the A/C. I took it to a shop (not around here) FOUR TIMES and they could not keep the air working for me. I just gave up. Andres did his thing and I learned the other shop did not do what they claimed they did...he found a leak and repaired what needed to be done. He took the time to explain everything to me and did not try to up-sell me. His rates are GREAT. He is truly an honest professional - I wish they were all like him. So happy I found a good shop and a reliable person.

Andy has been our me mechanic for 20 years. He is an Honest and experienced mechanic which is difficult to find these days.
