I wanted to let people know that I came to Simi Auto and Trans with a big problem. My wife's Altima transmission had bad grinding and car was about to die. David and his assistant both helped me get another transmission in her car on a short deadline. The price was fair and the car now works better than when it was new. No leaks no problems. I will definitely use them again.

As someone who isn't very knowledgeable about motor vehicles, David was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and honest with my vehicle. Got it serviced as a walk in, but recommended you call ahead of time to give David's team a heads up for service. Will return 10/10. - Ivan.

Very honest mechanic, breaks down everything before he starts the work and is very transparent. Took me years to finally find a mechanic who wasnt trying to rip me off at every turn. Highly recommend

It's just awful. Every day, David offered me extra to fix something else. And when I came to pick up the truck, my AC was not working and they refused to fix it. They asked me to pay in cash or they will charge more. The transmission that was installed to me works poorly. It's a disgusting place and I don't advise anyone to fix a car there.

I was in desperate need of.a transmission pan on my BMW, knowing the transmission is expensive to replace and needed repair immediately. I found Simi auto and trans on yelp, Long story short. Dave's hospitality was above and beyond and had my car repaired in a few hours, he Showed me the old Parts and explained to me specifically what went wrong. I was very comfortable with my service. I had a hard time putting gas in my car. Took a few times to get it to seal around the pump nozzle so the gas would go in. The next time I got gas, it didn't work at all. I was at Costco so I drove over to the nearest gas station. They only provided smog checks and referred David at the Mobile Station at First and Los Angeles Ave. I'm so glad I went there and didn't bother trying to find another place. He had to order the part which would take a few days. As I was low on gas (and we were at a gas station), he got his gas can, took it over to the pumps, we filled it and he put it in my car. He called this morning to say he had the pump. I was able to go over and get it taken care of. He doesn't have a "waiting room" but there are two plastic chairs just outside of the work area so I was able to wait there. He even showed me the new part (with the tag still on it) before installing it. I'm so pleased with David and the service he provided.
