Would be better if the volunteers didn't act like everyone has as much leisurely time as they do. It's very organized and has lots of neat stuff, but the prices can be pretty ridiculous. Remember: Anything in a thrift store likely has a stranger's fluids on it and should be priced at a discount in accordance.
The hours are very inconvenient so it seems like the owner does not need money. It's a store benefitting a charity for child sex trafficking victims, and the store promotes the viewing of SOUND OF FREEDOM. Just so you all know.
VERY nice yarn collection sometimes! Still, fairly overpriced at times.

This is my go to thrifty shop. They have various and vast items that you needed and the quality is really good at a very affordable price. Plus the staff is very nice and friendly. Will be back next payday!

Cute place and such a nice couple. Found a clock, didn't know if it worked. They dug up a battery and set it while I left. Came back and it worked. Great place! Charming goods!

Very cute and well organized little boutique shop. Seasonal items are usually up front near the registers. They almost always have some sort of promo, watch for the signs! There isn't a whole lot of clothing items to choose from, a small rack of children's and men's, and a few racks for women. You'll find all sorts of household knickknacks here too.

Absolutely love this place! I found so many beautiful things for my sister's garden bridal shower. Their prices are amazing and on top of that they have sales! Everything is always clean and they rotate things by season. Staff is friendly too.

This is my all time favorite 2nd hand store. They are all amazing volunteers that work there. All of the proceeds go to helping child trafficking victims. They have such nice stuff. Beautiful women's clothing, purses and shoes. Gorgeous jewelry, home decor items and so much more. I've bought so many things from there for my kids and myself. They also have a men's section. They do sales all the time and their prices are a fraction of what you would pay at goodwill. Plus their proceeds actually go towards an amazing cause. They are closed sundays and mondays. Please go to Second Story in Simi Valley and find some great deals and help them give hope to trafficking victims

In response to a negative review: I am in Second Story multiple times a week and have never heard or seen anything aggressive toward any one or any race. I have personally seen the admiration for the unique beauty of clothing that has been donated from different cultures. I love this store and the volunteers who run it.

It's always a delight shopping and donating there. The store has expanded with organized sections and attractive displays. I always find something to buy... no matter how small. Forever Found is a very worthwhile non-profit aiding those caught/stolen into "trafficking".

This is probably my favorite thrift shop and I've been to a lot! I always find great things here! The prices are great and the items are great quality. They can get very crowded so you may want to go at an off time if you are clothes shopping. They do have a fitting room. I always look forward to stopping in when I am in the area.

I love everything about my visit to this place - I love the cause and that it is entirely run by volunteers to fight human trafficking! And I left with two boogie boards that cost me $5 each. My son found a stuffed elephant. It's worth the drive to Simi for me since the cause is so important to us. Additionally, I'll be donating items here instead of Goodwill!
