Bought a book from these guys online for what I thought was a great price: I was in for an extreme disappointment because they suddenly claimed they didn't have it anymore after the sale went through! Sent a refund and cancelled the order with no explanation. Don't get your hopes up with a disappointing seller like this because they clearly don't care if they let down their customers.

Think they sent my rare book, which costed over 400 dollars, to the wrong address, and that they didn't answer my calls and emails for days, and then consider if you want to trust them with your order.

Very misleading - this book was sold to me as “Used - Good”. The cover is torn to shreds and significant pieces of information on the cover is missing. This is misleading and bad business. I am very disappointed.

Beware! These folks appear to own two businesses (Books from California is listed at the same business address and has a Greg Schwabe as a business principal). I recently bought a book from Schwabe Books online for THEIR advertised price. They subsequently refunded my money advising they didn't have the book. I was disappointed, but when I looked for other sellers who might have had a similar copy of this book, I found it immediately at Books from California, but at a price almost 300% higher. It was the exact same book (meaning I bought copy #52 of this book from Schwabe and Books from California was selling copy #52 also!). I repeatedly left messages, sent an email and no response. I also filed a complaint with BBB and they got no response. Very disappointed in the way they cheated me out of my purchase. AND, NO response whatsoever. IF there was a legitimate explanation for Schwabe's reneging on selling me this book, it was completely negated by their failure to even respond to the BBB, but more importantly, to me.
