We have taken our cars to Schneiders for nearly 30 years. They have always provided excellent, honest, and reasonably priced service. They provide written detailed comprehensive diagnostics on your car and indicate what is critical to be fixed immediately and what might need to be fixed later. All staff are friendly and professional. I wouldn't think of taking our cars anywhere else.

I have gone to Schneider's several times. They are honest, friendly, quick, and very competant. They will only do what is needed even if bulking up a bill is possible.I went in recently thinking all four brakes on my car needed replacement. They could have replaced all the pads and rotors. I would not have objected. Instead they let me know only the rear brakes needed replacement.They also did a 51 point check up at no charge. The only thing reported was a long overdue air filter replacement. They sent me a picture requesting my advance authorization.You can trust these guys. They will do a great job.

The team at Schneider's auto was fabulous! Our car was serviced quickly and throughly. Additionally we had a new used car that needed a check engine light addressed. Schneiders worked hard to diagnose and fix the problem. We will be returning to Schneiders.

Schneider's Auto Repair is the best discovery I've made in a long time. After dealing with long waits and upselling tactics from other service providers, I was delighted to receive stellar service and the most honest assessment of my vehicle ever. They know what they are doing, use superb technology, and have staff who will leave you laughing as you walk out the door. Don't miss the chance to try this place. I won't be going anywhere else.

Great service and customer satisfaction. We were referred by a neighbor to try this shop to help with our car problems. Our main reason we went there was to fix the 'death wobble' on our Jeep. They were able to schedule an appointment next day and give me a diagnostic and quote of how much it will be and timeline of how long it will take. Great customer service with emailing over estimates, explaining what needed to be done, and follow up calls on the progress of the car. I was surprised by how quick they were able to complete the repairs. Once I picked up the Jeep it ran great, but to really put it to the test we went on trip up north about 600 miles round trip and did some light off roading. Guess what no 'death wobble'!

I have nothing short of a raving 5-Star review for Schneiders! I was referred by my boyfriend's family who has been going there for decades. I see why! Not only are they kind and have the most amazing customer service I've ever witnessed at a mechanic shop, but they are HONEST. Do you know how hard it is to find an honest mechanic? I had taken my car into the Hyundai dealership over a month ago and they said my car was great and didn't need work. My intuition told me different. It wasn't until my car wouldn't start that I knew my intuition was right. Schneiders gave me a complete breakdown of the services I needed to get done from high priority to low. They didn't push me or try to sell me anything I didn't need. They told me the facts and left it in my hands to decide. Not only that but also gave me a free car wash coupon and a fancy water bottle and pen to round out this incredible experience. Steve and Joe are amazing and make you feel safe and that you're in good hands. Even if I move out of Simi one day, I will be driving to take my car into them for maintenance. When I find something good... I don't let it go! Thank you Schneiders, happy to finally have an outstanding mechanic shop to go to for my almost paid-off baby. (If there were more stars to give, I would give them.)

Went there for an alignment needed front tires aligned they charged me for four wheel alignment. When I asked why I was being charged for four wheel when you can only align the front they said the machine can only do 4 wheel alignments. Which is incorrect because you cannot align the rear of a straight axle leaf spring truck, I didn't want to continue to argue with the front desk and just paid it because I needed the front aligned. Will just go somewhere else next time, my fault for not going into great detail when I dropped the truck off but it was a basic front end alignment job didn't think I needed to go over the paperwork and communicate more than having the front aligned.

I brought my car in for a battery installation late in the day. The Service Advisor, Steve Lemus, was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of, despite not having an appointment. Great and fast service!

I was referred to Schneider's by my extended warranty company. Joe, the service manager, handled all the annoying details of getting my repairs approved with a level of professionalism that's hard to find today. I loved the thorough check they did of my car as well. Great communication, super efficient, and my car runs great now!

We took our 2001 Toyota Sequoia there with a knock sensor fault code. The problem actually was rats had eaten the wire to the knock sensor, and the wire harness is not readily available, either OEM or aftermarket. The service tech at Schneider's said "don't worry, we love to fix these kind of issues". They quoted a very reasonable price to repair the existing wiring and they had it done in one day. They communication was great, the work was done as promised and Paula and staff were very friendly. Great experience all around and 5 stars all the way. We are so happy we found this family owned/operated shop.

Great service at a fair price. Very responsive and reliable. I've had electrical, A/C and brake jobs and they've always done a great job. Highly recommend Schniders for automotive repairs.

Warning, do not get work done at this shop! I took my Beamer here because it needed suspension work done. Was told by the owner (also my landlord) that they were not the cheapest shop, but they guaranteed quality work and was told they use OEM Lemforder suspension parts. That was a lie. They put on KYB struts and shocks and some cheap control arms which they overcharged me for by 3-4x the original amount, especially on the sway bar links. 7,000 miles later, my inner bushing on my right control arm popped out! Also they failed to change out my cracked tower mounts and had to bring it back. I'm so pissed with this shop for outright lying to me and doing negligent work! Unless you want to get bent over and taken advantage of, I would definitely take your car somewhere else. They charge dealer prices but you don't get quality parts or work.
