“A few days ago I went to oil changes for an oil change and to check out some fluids that were leaking from my car that looked like oil. We are taking the car on a trip and needed to be sure it was safe. They checked it out very thoughly I was so happy and as it turned out it was my transmission. The two guys that helped me were both named Jacob what a pair these two were I never felt so well taken care of ! Now we know what to do instead of chasing down theories. “Staff here is phenomenal! Best customer service of any tire shop I've ever been to. Did my tire rotation and repaired a tire for FREE even though I didn't get the tires there. I felt like I was family and not a customer so I decided to give them my business when I got into yet another brawl with a curb. As always, they were kind, fair priced, efficient, and on time. Very happy with the experience. It's obvious to me that the people who work there care about their customers and I can't say what a huge impact that has both on the client and the business. Very impressed and will definitely refer business.
Also, bonus points for lifetime warranty on the tires. Especially since curbs and I often don't see tread to tread.

“I have worked with Shortees for over 20 years. Mike is the owner, and his wife Shannon is the office manager. They are the best shop I have had the pleasure of working with in Simi Valley since moving her 25 years ago. It is hard to find a quality service business of any kind where you know you can trust them, and they have earned my trust so many times that I would not consider going anywhere else for non-warranty work. But here is the best part: If Mike is aware of a service bulletin on your vehicle which you are asking him to repair, he will first send you to the dealer to ask them to take care of it. He has done this for me twice, without my asking, and he saved me $Thousands as a result, while other mechanics will simply do the work and charge you for it. I have not met anyone in the automotive industry who is as honest and trustworthy as Mike and Shortees Automotive!”

“Got in, they let me know upfront there would be a bit of wait. Guys there were super cool and got me out of there faster than I was told and topped up my washer fluid and air in the tires. Overall great. Only thing I can think of is they didn’t have change for me to pay with cash but that’s kinda the norm in most places now.”

“My 2019 Honda civic was running funny after getting an oil change at the dealership. My car kept stalling while driving it and smoke was coming out of the motor and from the back of the car. I took my car to one mechanic in Sun Valley which someone had referred me to but they said they could not find anything wrong with my car. So I picked up my car and low and behold the problem kept occurring. My daughter referred me to Gevik at Yosemite Auto and he told me to bring my car in so he could take a look at it. He had checked my car's oil and was shocked to find out that the dealership had filled my oil 5x the limit. He said I was lucky that I didn't blow my engine driving it around like that. “I rarely get my car washed. This has led to several instances of the words, “WASH ME” written in the dirt covering the vehicle. I tried to stop it by letting people know that it was a “SCIENCE EXPERIMENT – DO NOT WASH”, also written in the dirt.
Since neither phrase resulted in a clean car, I tried washing it myself. Apparently, my neighbors don’t want to see an old, fat, ugly guy in Speedos getting lathered up. At least the cops had a good laugh.
So, off to Simi Auto Care I go! I took the body out of the trunk (total waste of time, BTW – they don’t even open the trunk!) and pulled up during a slow time.
Seriously, they certainly do a better wash than the local drive-through, and the prices reflect that difference. After the car went through the washing tunnel, it was cleaned by hand by one of the several guys at the other end. Not only did he do a nice job finishing the process, but he was also quick, too. The car looks great! I drove it back home in style.
Although, in hindsight, I probably should’ve worn something other than the Speedos.”
“Came without an appointment and they assisted me 4/21/24 it was perfect ??I needed to get my oil change and I was surprised by the process and the support. They did have a waiting area inside but the chairs were so hard ?But nonetheless you can shop or wait. I paid and the entire thing was over in one hour.Definitely recommend this place ❤️❤️”
