Fixed panel on a sliding glass door set imploded 9PM. Called Nu Star and they were on site within one hour. Did a good job of repair and cleanup. A little pricey but this was 10 PM with quick response so ask yourself what would you charge for leaving home and doing this?

We had the Jim to check the issues with sliding and screen doors. The price he quoted was more the 2.5 times for the exact products we would get from other places. Be savvy and be informed by looking at other options.

We recently purchased a business and during renovation we broke one of our store front windows. Not only was the break waist high but it was pouring rain that day. Jim came over within an hour to access the situation, provided us a quote for replacement, and helped to secure the window in the meantime. He was friendly, informative, and reassuring. In addition, we were originally told 5 to 7 days before our new window would be installed but Jim called within 48 hours to let us know the new window was in and he would be there the next day to install it. Thank you Jim and Nu-Star glass for coming to our rescue and providing amazing customer care. We feel we have a local business friend for life.

We had some of our old track home window glass replaced, sliding glass door rail repaired and also an old broken framed glass shower door that needed repair and hoping to convert to a frameless shower door. During inspection, Jim was very attentive and helpful to describe the process beforehand, he meticulously described every steps needed to achieve the jobs. He promised the timeframe and Indeed everything was completed within the time frame as promised, I was especially impressed with the workmanship of the shower door conversion. Also they went over and beyond by overcame some issues with my broken sliding door. Kurt and Daniel both did a fabulous job, they are a great team and also great people! I will call Nu-Star glass again because they do amazing work and they are true professionals! Thank you Jim!

We recently remodeled our Master Bathroom and I contacted Jim at NuStar glass to replace the shower door and mirrors. The price was fair and competitive. On installation day the Installers Daniel and Curt arrived on time and did a beautiful job on the installation. I highly recommend Jim and NuStar for any of your glass needs

Called to get a quote to get a few window sealed fixed and was told he charges $250 to give an estimate. I was ok with the charge and had him come out. When the quote was written he stated on it I had only 72 hours to accept that price. If I was told that in the beginning I would have never paid to have someone give me an estimate with such a short window to decide. Thankfully I went with my gut and I called several window companies and they came out for a free estimate and the cost to replace was 50% less than his quote. It felt like a dirty used car salesman. Update to response: In my review I stated I was ok with you changing $250 for the estimate. What I want to make clear for anyone reaching out to you to get a quote is once you get the estimate you put in the contract you only have a very small window to accept. You wanted only 24 hours but extended to 72. Your company charges 50% more than any of the free estimates that i received from other glass companies. I felt like i you're trying to take advantage of customers. Buyer beware and shop around before contacting!!!

Jim absolutely saved me tonight. Around 7:45 pm, I accidentally shattered the street facing window in the front of my house. Nu star had put a glass enclosure around a shower when we first moved in in 2014, so when I recognized the name of the company, I gave them a call, intending to leave a message. I expected that they would call me back tomorrow and hopefully be able to come and replace the window.I was very surprised when Jim answered the phone on his "emergency line". I told him what had happened, sent him some pictures, and I was blown away when he told me he could actually fix the window tonight. Of course, this came at a premium, but given the option, I took it. Two hours later, the window is replaced, good as new.I could not ask for better, more professional service. Because of this, when I had to tell my wife that I had broken the window, in the same breath I was able to tell her that I had already arranged to have it replaced and that it was happening right away.Now I don't have to go to bed with a shattered front window. This was worth every penny, and then some.Thank you, Jim!

Jim at Nu-Star was amazing! When are home was invaded in the middle of the night, Jim took our call calmly at 2:00 am and his team came to clean up the broken glass and boarded our home up within hours of the home invasion. He helped us feel safer in our damaged home. His team cleaned up tons of broken glass and ordered us replacement products in a timely manner. The glass was recently replaced and it works perfectly. When you are in a crisis and need glass repair, I highly recommend Nu-Star. Jim will take great care of you from start to finish.
