“I found there to be all sorts of negative reviews for every moving company out there sprinkled in with some good ones. I chose Jim’s because someone I know personally had used them multiple times & recommended them to me. Ultimately, I couldn’t have been more pleased! These guys were like the “dream team” of movers & I had an out-of-state move, which was not easy. Stuart quoted me an all-in price that he assured me would not change; I agreed and sure enough there were no awkward conversations about added costs, etc. In fact, he even allowed me to add my entire 15x10 ft storage unit into the moving truck without charging me a dime more than what was agreed. That’s right, the 4 movers took the truck a couple miles down the street and cleaned out my complete storage unit after loading up my home. That definitely felt like a huge bonus. Also, when everything was unloaded the next day, not a single item was broken. My movers were Dan, Carey, Josh, Ryan & Sean. Of course every move has it’s unique factors, but I’d give these guys the highest recommendation to allow the best chance for you to be happy with yours based on the experience I just had & that’s after I went into it very cautiously after reading some negative reviews. And lastly, from what I gathered having read so many reviews, clear communication is the biggest key to being happy with your moving service so simply ask all of the questions and state all of your concerns in advance and Jim’s Moving Service will be able to help put you at ease. Stuart visited my old place twice to help map out the required space needed & provide us with some packing up recommedations. Again, could not give them any higher praise. 5 stars all the way.”

“I just used NMS in July 2023, to move across the Country! They were fabulous from start to finish. They were extremely responsive with all my questions, supporting my schedule and generous with supplies. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jack (Brittany, Jolene). I was incredibly reluctant to use a local /long distance carrier based on reading negative reviews and speaking with people (who made interstate moves), however, using a'Cube', renting a truck, etc., wasnt for me. “Jason, John and company packed up 80% of our house, as requested in a little under 2 days. They were through, efficient, and asked questions when there was an either/or situation. I had my weaving studio in my home, which contained three large floor looms and a number of spinning wheels. Everything was secured, wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped like mummies. I am confident they will arrive in great shape when our move is complete. A few days later Jason had an associate company come with a truck to move everything to storage. Every one of these young men were pleasant to work with. Would not hesitate to use them again!!”
