I chose Little Explorers Preschool for my daughter after touring several schools in Simi Valley, including SVM. Little Explorers stood out to me for their emphasis on safety and cleanliness, as well as the structured and organized environment. The teachers were also observed deep cleaning the classrooms when I came to tour, it really stood out to me! The school also provides quarterly updates, which is a great feature. My daughter loves it and came home from her first day talking about her teachers and singing songs. The atmosphere is warm and comforting, and the enrollment process was smooth and easy, thanks to the director. Overall, I am very happy with my choice of Little Explorers Preschool for my daughter. Will keep updating this review as time passes!

Best decision we did was to put our twins here. They got them potty trained, have great communication with us, and we love the pictures and videos we get. Moving from a new state was hard and they have helped us so much with the transition. The director is on top of things and addresses things quickly. We love their teachers.

My daughter has been here for about a week now, and we LOVE her teachers Ms. Ruby & Ms. Delphina. They are absolute ANGELS among earth. They truly care about the children in their class. They are what makes this school so special. There aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe how much I admire these 2 individuals, and how blessed any parent would be to have them teaching their children. I'm knocking off one star for my review after a bizarre incident I experienced with another teacher (who fortunately is not teaching in my daughters class.) this individual's name is "Ms Laura" - I was dropping something off for my daughter when I overheard her speaking so terribly about my daughter, who IS only 2.5 years old! (She didn't know I was there). This woman is a teacher and was saying terrible things about my child, within earshot of other kids, including my own! No properly trained early childhood educator would ever speak this way of children in their school, specifically a 2.5 year old who is transitioning in a new school. If this woman was teaching my child's class, I would pull her out right away. Luckily we are fortunate to have great teachers in my daughters class and not a bully like Ms Laura.

Look no further! Ms Shini and her staff are the best. I have 2 children (ages 4 and 22 months) attending Little Explorers and we couldn't be more thrilled with the love and support we get here. Communication from the school has been wonderful, especially through a tough 2020 year. You can tell the staff really enjoy the children! We couldn't be happier with the community there and the development of our little girls in all aspects. We look forward to having our 3rd baby join them as well!

This is probably THE BEST daycare/preschool in Simi Valley. Look no further and choose Little Explorers to care for your little ones.Miss.Shini, Miss.Gina and the entire staff - they are really awesome. My twins loved their time at Little Explorers. We moved to Valencia and had to change schools and miss Little Explorers terribly. We would love to have Ms.Shini start a franchise here in Valenica :)Quality of care, and a great attention to detail by Ms.SHINI - she goes above and beyond to stay on top of things and knows exactly what is important for kids and parents. The entire staff reflect her leadership, compassion and care. Being with Little Explorers definitely felt like family.

Went to check this place out even though I've been told by most of my mom friends that it's not worth the money or time and I gotta say, they were right! Don't be fooled by them. They stage the room to make it look like there are lots of toys and activities for the kids to do, but that isn't the case. I understand with COVID there's going to be some change, but it's completely misleading. I saw someone on the staff 'cleaning' and inquired as to what they were using to disinfect things. She told me it was bleach water but when I looked in the bucket it was grey, murky water. They're basically just pushing around dirty water for the kids to crawl around on and pretty much ingest since hands will most definitely make their way to their mouths. I tried not to make too much of a big deal out of it but when I mentioned it to the teacher she turned her nose up at me and brushed me off. This upset me so I said I'd let the office know to which she replied 'I don't think you wanna do that'. I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with this lady so I went to the office since, at this point, I already know I don't want my kid attending this daycare. Long story short, the office didn't care or even pretend to. I'm sorry, but with this pandemic going on and kids already being little germ bags, you can't be too careful about making sure things are clean. Totally unacceptable. In a nutshell: false advertising, no concern for cleanliness, and completely off putting and condescending to parents with concerns. Learn from me and don't waste your time or money!

This is a great daycare/pre-school!! I enrolled my son and my daughter at this school after looking at (literally) every daycare in Simi. This school is everything I had in mind for my kids. The staff is always smiling and happy to be with the kids. The classrooms are clean and sanitized daily. The school also offers gymnastics and dance classes so your child can take those classes without having to leave school, which I think is awesome! In addition, they have a huge yard for the kids to play outside and a swimming pool where the kids can take lesson in the summer. I just can't say enough good things about this school!!

We spent a huge amount of time touring all the preschools in Simi Valley looking for the best fit for our two kids. Toward the end of my search, I was a little tired of the things I was seeing and frankly frustrated at my options - that is until I found Little Explorers Preschool Academy! When I walked into Little Explorers, my first impression was sheer delight. I met with the director who answered all my questions and gave me a full tour of the school. Here was what I saw:The children were happy and engagedThe teachers were smiling and didn't seem overwhelmedThe classrooms were clean and the decor was bright and full of artBathrooms were clean and they smelled sanitized as well. The food they serve to the kids had well-balanced options that I would feed them at home.I happily signed on with them and started a few months ago. I waited to write this review so that I could be really clear to Moms like me who are relying on these to find a great preschool for their children. Both kids love the school. My older daughter is in the two year old room and my younger one is in the toddler room. Both have really blossomed since starting there. They have a truly wonderful program here.My comment on Management is they are competent, intelligent and caring. I am extremely confident in my children being here full time. If one child is sick they always ask how they are. From Mom to Mom, I hope I have helped you in your journey to find the perfect preschool. I hope to see you there!
