Most of the younger Cashiers here are more interested in making customers wait or acknowledging us while playing on cell phones on company time. Jonathan at the ProDesk had his phone propped up behind his scanner gun. He was having a conversation with a co-worked that was clocked out behind the register.

My business partner and I are renovating our new store here in Simi. We visited the flooring department at Home Depot and were helped by Paul. He spent a lot of time helping us find something within our extremely tight budget and placing the order for us in a way that it would be delivered and easier for us to handle since we are installing it ourselves. Thank you Paul for taking care of us. We really appreciate it and will be returning for many more projects.

I shop here very often but I'll be favoring their competitors instead since I learned that the Home Depot Foundation is funding Cop City in Atlanta. I guess Home Depot has no problem funding antidemocratic projects which people (Tortuguita) have been killed over. I don't want to give my money to a company like that.

Love home depot, except when everyone is super nice and helpful until you get to the head cashier and tells you with an attitude she can't give you a discount for a damaged tool box. Beause of the attitude you lost a $300.00 sale. Thanks everyone else who tried!

Staff has always been friendly and helpful here but tonight we had an exceptionally wonderful experience with one of the employees. James B. helped us at the Customer Service Desk and he went above and beyond, spending 20 plus minutes to fix the issue we had. He was extremely patient, so kind, and took the initiative to ensure that we got our money back. He honestly deserves Employee of the Month, if not, Employee of the Year, for being so amazing with the customers. Thank you again for everything James!

I was in Home Depot two hrs ago, on New Year's Eve. The store was incredibly busy, and there was an issue with an item I was attempting to purchase that had been canceled. While the employees were all considerate I asked to speak with the manager. I hope I am getting the manager's name correct, I believe it was Kathy that assisted me. I was very upset, and Kathy stepped in with the most professionalism. She focused on seeing what she could do to assist me, and she definitely did. Customer service at its finest. When I encounter managers that are that focused on customer service, and that considerate, I know I found the store I will always be a customer of. Thank you Home Depot, and thank you so much Kathy!

This was a speedy experience during a busy holiday amidst a torrential downpour. I placed an order that had items to be delivered and picked up along with an item in the locker for pickup. I was ill prepared sans umbrella wearing thin scrubs and needed to get the items. I ran in, was quickly helped by an associate, handed the item that was delivered and given the code for the locker. Retrieved the locker item and was running to my car in the rain in a relatively short time. I'm still waiting for another item that's about a week past the original estimated delivery but it's the holiday and they're updating the information in the app so I can't complain.

Bought a refrigerator with a delivery schedule of 9/5. Didn't hear a thing so went to their delivery site early 9/5 and see my delivery is now 9/10. No phone call, no text, no information prior to a change. Terrible customer service - impossible to get to a real person. Now having to accommodate a new date. Not happy.

This is by far the best and more organized Home Depot I been to so far. Since this Home Depot location is literally across the street from my work office, I put in my order for in-store pickup here. I also had to get a bag for my Rigid vacuum so I went inside the store to get my vacuum bag first. There was no one at the self checkout line so I was able to go straight to the register. After I paid for my vacuum bag, I went to the Customer Service area to pick up my order. At first I was confused because they really didn't tape out where you line up. But since they weren't busy, someone saw me and help me. There many parking here because it's in a plaza so you won't have any issues here. I saw only 3 curbside pickup spots next to the store so I don't know if there more spots.

I ordered 4 shelving units online for my garage. 3 of the wood boards were damaged and I was also missing 5 metal supports from one box. I called to tell them what happened. I told them that I paid for delivery because I could not pick them up as the boxes are too heavy. I spoke with Meagan over the phone and she was proactive. She spoke with Sarah, the manager of the store and they were able to replace the damaged wood shelves and replace the metal supports. Meagan delivered the new parts for me to my home!! She was courteous and very helpful. I'm amazed with Megan's willingness to help and Sarah's quick response to allowing them to make things right. I would recommend the Home Depot in Simi Valley to my family and friends. They certainly have my business! Thank you!!!

This place has the WORST Manager name Mike in Gardening, His team was very helpful and very respectful, but for a manager his demeanor, attitude & manners is the worst. He made a mistake and instead of him correcting it & know he made a mistake on a price, he was cold & rude. I know I will never come back to this Home Depot.

I just want to say suburb customer service. If you can't tell by my rating score, I'm being sarcastic. When you call on Employees for help, and they speed walk away from you like they cannot hear....

What the heck happened to Home Depot? This place used to be decent, but has progressively gotten worse. Yesterday I stopped by with my father and had I not been there I wouldn't have believed it myself. In the span of 20 minutes, we had to prompt 3 different employees 3 different times for assistance, all because "they didn't work that aisle." During that time 10 employees walked by us and not a single one even acknowledged us despite obviously needing and wanting assistance. We noticed several employees were taking off their aprons so it might have been a shift change, but how in the world do you have/see 13 different employees in a 20 minute stretch and STILL Cannot get help? Mind you this is after already being in the store for 10-15 mins. We walked away after the lack of customer service. The funny thing is we have several big upcoming projects that we will not be using Home Depot for as a result. After reading all the other reviews on Yelp I urge others to do the same and avoid unless it's your last resort. No one is helpful at all and if you do find someone, they give excuses why they can't help you. Home Depot and Home Depot Simi Valley should be embarrassed with their poor customer service! It's literally nonexistent and you might as well have everything automated. What's the point of having employees if they can't help customers? After reading all the recent reviews and their "consistency" with poor customer service I would strongly avoid at all costs. I usually take Yelp reviews with a grain of salt, but seriously it's a madhouse and completely chaos in disarray if you go in. Since we still needed stuff due an emergency, we went to Lowe's and not only did every single employee greet us, but we had an expert assist us right away. It was a complete 180. This location is clearly skating on the name Home Depot and doesn't care about its customers. Way better places to spend your money at. The sad thing is several similar customers experienced the same situation while leaving Home Depot and we even "bumped" into someone we saw at Lowe's complain about the "same customer service" as we were leaving. How bad is your store's reputation that multiple customers go to your competitor right away and that it's "common knowledge"...yikes!
