The experience was okay up until the part when I filled up the car with gas. It turns out they did not give it to me full and they have no way to refund me the extra 5 gallons I gave them.

Tesla rental through insurance after mine was hit. Received with 55% battery, tire pressure warnings going off that tires too inflated, low fluid alarm going off for washer fluid, charger not in car just an empty bag, latest update not done so took me off the road 30min while it did that. I would be very careful to check all these things. They closed after I received so not much I could do but pull over and address all the alarms and find a charging station.

Don't rent from here. Prepaid for reserved a car. Upon date of reservation, was told car was not available. I specifically reserved and PAID for a Tesla (no other alternative or similar model was stated in the email confirmation). Had to leave that very same day so had no other choice but to be given a lesser model. Was told I'd be compensated but those were all empty promises. Wouldn't rent from Hertz again just because of this experience. Share with your friends.

I recently booked a large truck for our family vacation, explicitly requiring a vehicle that could seat five. Upon arriving to pick up the truck, I was presented with a single cab F150 which only accommodates three. I addressed the error to Farbod, expecting a constructive solution. Instead, he informed me that despite their efforts, no larger truck was available, without any prior notification to us.The lack of communication was disappointing, but what further soured the experience was his attitude - it was dismissive and lacked the expected customer service warmth.Turning to Hertz's 1-800 number for assistance also proved futile, leading to our reservation being canceled. Consequently, our family vacation was derailed as we couldn't fit in our own car.This was a deeply frustrating experience, and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service. I hope no other family has to alter their plans due to such oversight and lack of professionalism.

I did an extension on my rental for 3 days on the Hertz website which reflected an additional $112 but when I returned the vehicle they charged me the $70 day rate for each additional day which made my extensions $210. They didn't want to refund me the additional $98 they charged and customer support was no help. Be careful with this money hungry establishment.

Very rude customer service. They had me to wait for half an hour to return a car and then told me we're closed. They were supposed to give me a ride back to my dealership but they ignored me and closed the door. Unbelievable and the worse experience I have ever seen with car rental companies.

The customer service was horrible. Farbod helped my mother and I and he seemed to hate women or our ethnicity. He kept talking down to my mother and I during our return and refused to talk to me at one point.Being a hardcore Hertz fan, it was difficult to deal with someone that was so rude to us throughout the process. Every question I asked, he referred to the 1-800 #. I let him know I spoke to Jackson on Monday and shared that he told us to speak with Yoon. He even wrote that on the contract. Farbod spoke down to us and said that Jackson doesn't work there and I must not have know who I was speaking too.Being in customer service, I'm floored at how disrespectful he was to us. I hope Hertz doesn't continue to employee someone that truly disrespects someone that isn't like him. No matter how nice I tried to be to help understand what we could do, he was still rude and disrespect. Hopefully, Hertz will put him in a role that doesn't involve people. Truly disappointed.Additionally, we were quoted $600 for a 10/12 return at the Simi Valley location. In addition to be talked down to, we returned the car on 10/12 prior to 4pm and were charged $1200. Very disappointing to be up charged and then treated like a 3rd class citizen. Hopefully, Farbod will not be in a customer service role as his does not like women.
