I brought my pistol to Ken for the first time based on the great reviews he gets. I needed the fixed iron sights zeroed in.He performed the work while I waited and charged my less than his original estimate. I'll be going back to Ken for all my future gun smithing needs.

Worked a miracle on my SP01 Tactical slide that a few other well known gunsmiths couldn’t. Best part was I had the slide back in less than a week. Very professional guy who I’d trust with any gun of mine. Will be a returning customer for all my gunsmithing needs.

I had a family rifle that is about 50 years old... a Marlin 57... shot it as a kid. It kept jamming up every time I took it out. I took the gun to 4 different gunsmiths... 2 in Goleta, 1 in Ventura, and 1 in San Diego. None of those places could fix the issue. But, they could charge me for not fixing anything.I finally brought the rifle down to Gun Doctor Gunsmithing. Fixed!Gun had two right extractors, damage to the slide area and a spring that was too strong in the magazine.The thing works perfect now. Finally, found someone that knows what they are doing! Highly recommended!!

Had an issue with a rifle, took it to the manufacturer, they couldn’t figure it out. Took it to another gunsmith, they couldn’t figure it out. Brought it to Ken at Gun Doctor and sure enough he was able to figure it out. Thank you! 5 stars!

I met Ken Schlobohm (The Gun Doctor) who is located at the gun store where I am a good customer. It's been at least 20 years since I've had any confidence in a gunsmith within 40 miles of where I live. I have been burned more times than I can count. Ken is terrific. Professional, very skilled in his craft, with fast work and he takes time to explain the problem and how he is going to correct it. Ken has my total confidence and his work has been flawless.

The Gun Doctor is the only person that I trust to work on my guns. Very professional and knowledgeable. The best part is not only that he can do pretty much everything, but doesn’t take weeks like other stores. He cerekote one of my guns in a few days when other places were quoting me weeks if not months. So, if you are looking for a gunsmith that knows what he is doing and don’t want to wait months to get your guns back, The Gun Doctor is definitely your guy.

No reason to take your gun smithing needs anywhere else…what ever you need, Ken can do it with expert precision and in a timely manner. He has worked on several of my guns and the results have been stellar! I brought Ken a job that was botched up by a well known industry manufacturer which he was able to correct and repair beautifully. I highly recommend the “Gun Doctor”…no need to go anywhere else!

Ken provides excellent service and worked closely with me to ensure everything was to my specifications. He assisted with complete customization of my CZ 75 (trigger, sights, and barrel crowning). Fast turn around time and great prices. He is a great guy to work with.

Ken is an absolute gunsmithing wizard. Had an issue with one of my handguns that’s been a recurring nightmare for this specific firearm. Months of troubleshooting with several different gunsmiths and I finally decide to bring it to Ken. I describe the issue and Ken tells me he’ll take a look and let me know where we go from there. THE NEXT DAY Ken tells me he figured out and fixed the issue already, tested the firearm, and wanted me to come try it out for myself. 100 rounds later and ZERO malfunctions (which has NEVER happened with this particular gun), Ken solved the unsolvable and proved himself as a real gunsmithing superhero. Will 1000000% continue to bring any and all firearm issues straight to Ken from now on.

I was referred to Ken after using a few other local gun smiths in both Ventura and Los Angeles counties. I first brought my CZ p01 decocker to him. The work he did made this my favorite handgun of many. I then bought an SP01 Manual safety and brought it to him. They are now my two favorite handguns, they both look beautiful and perform even better. Ken quickly recognized that an SAO conversion needed a place holder for the lifter block and custom machined a piece for me. I highly recommend Ken for any and all your firearm gun smithing needs. It is nice to have a competent gun smith. He goes way above and way befond with very fair pricing. The best thing is that I no longer need to look for someone I trust to work on my firearms.

Ken, owner operator is truly a master of his craft! I have never met someone so knowable about guns and how to repair or make guns better then factory. Ken also has quick turnaround times compared to other shops. I would highly recommend Gun Doctor Gunsmithing!!

Ken is a real doctor he took my gun from looking like a 2 year old painted it and destroyed it, to looking better then new. He is a great professional at his work and a great person. The only stop for all my guns!!!!!!!
