Called them on Wednesday to see if they could get a part for my trailer. Got there on Friday after work and walked in around 4:30pm and one of the guys there greeted me and I told him what I was looking for and he said ok, and said be back in a minute. Well, I waited for almost 25 minutes and he never came back and no one came to check on me. I walked out and left. Went down the street and decided to call and no answer. They lost my business and I don't think I'll be recommending them or going back.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! After we specifically asked for a certain coupler, Ha, the manager, claimed he misunderstood and put the crapiest coupler back on. I assume that’s so they can keep more of the insurance money. We sent him the picture of the coupler we wanted so it’s prettyManager Ha refuses to fix the trailer appropriately so we had to tow the trailer to another repair shop to get it fixed.Worst work and worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. How unprofessional!

Garrett's Custom Trailers - AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! After we specifically asked for a certain coupler, Ha, the manager, claimed he misunderstood and put the crapiest $50 coupler back on. I assume that's so they can keep more of the insurance money. We sent him the picture of the coupler we wanted so it's pretty clear what our request was. Manager Ha also refused to fix the damaged aluminum skin and tubing that got dented appropriately. When we refused the work and told him to put the trailer back in his shop. He stated that he would not move it off the street and it would get towed that evening. so we had to tow the trailer to another repair shop to get it fixed. Worst work and worst customer service I've ever experienced. How unprofessional!

BUYER BEWARE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I contacted Garrett/Ha/Ramsey in March 2021 to purchase a trailer for my upcoming cross country move to relocate my family. Ha and Ramsey were very helpful, They didn't have any trailers in stock so they mentioned that they could order one for me that would be there in 8 to 12 weeks. This seemed pretty good since our move wasn't until the end of July/Early August. I checked in with Ha via text message a couple times and he always responded back to me. The beginning of June came around and the 12 weeks were up. I texted Ha and I never got a response, about a week later I got a message from Ramsey that due to the pandemic there were delays in turn around. I still had about 8 weeks before the move so I let it ride. When I hadn't heard back from them in July I messaged Ramsey that my deadline had arrived and I would have to make other arrangements, They offered me another trailer that was similar but not exactly what I needed. The next day I decided to take a look at the trailer because I realized that delivery of the one I ordered probably wasn't going to happen when I needed it. When I called they told me that they already had it sold...... I decided to make back up arrangements and schedule a mover, This ended up costing me 15k, I also was going to tow the trailer with my truck but ended up having to install a tow bar on my RV to flat tow my truck which cost me an additional 7K. I called Ramsey and asked him for a refund of my $7500 deposit and he got defensive and told me "Review the contract you signed!" He had verbiage in there that released them of liability due to certain circumstances and that any disputes must be taken to arbitration rather than the courts. I ended up calling the manufacturer and spoke directly with the Rep that took the order from Garrett. When I explained to him my situation and that they quoted me an 8-12 week turn around he was shocked and stated that they hadn't had less than a 6 month turn around on orders for the last year. I was pissed and at that time I felt I had been scammed for my deposit. Garrett/Ha/Ramsey knew all along that they could not make my deadline with this order yet they took the order and my deposit anyway. It is now the middle of November and I have not heard from anyone at Garrett. I feel they knew that they would be able to keep my deposit and I would be forced into having to purchase the trailer even though I no longer needed it, also I am in Florida now. I think this company has unethical practices and I will make sure all my friends and everyone I work with in the movie industry knows to never buy from this company. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Took my horse trailer in for service and a small repair. Trailer was ready when promised and staff were very friendly. Will definitely come back in the future!

Took my ocean boat trailer for a complete brake job. Lines,Rotors calipers pads etc. was Quoted $2900.00+ plus. I asked him to send me an email of the work breakdown. I then called the trailer manufacturer for pricing on parts and labor. The manufactures parts and labor $1800.00 So I informed them not to do the work. As I picked up the trailer they handed me a $380 bill. Most companies have checking advise fees understandable but not at that rate. They informed me They did unauthorized work on the trailer they stated the axles? I asked them why they would do that without my authorization? The man then angry and said take it and walked into the back room. Just wow Try to overcharge a customer, then do unauthorized work and get upset interesting business model.

A testimony as to the quality of service that was provided by Garrett Custom Trailers and Truck Accessories would require more space than is available on this site. Suffice it to say that the representative who serviced our unit went far beyond my expectations with his knowledge of the problem I was experiencing and his skill in remedying it. Ramsey was courteous, conscientious and capable, much more so than any RV repairman I have dealt with in the past. I enthusiastically recommend the gentleman and the company he represents. I came in with a broken AC unit on my mobile pet grooming van that needed to be replaced. Ramsey provided me with a quick and reasonable quote. As I still had to present this quote for an insurance claim and payment I wasn't yet ready to pull the trigger on the replacement and worried about having to work in this 102° weather inside my small van. I did buy a portable AC unit but didn't know how to accommodate the vent but he quickly came up with a great idea and had a whole cut out to safely and efficiently divert the hot air thru the vent out of my cabin. I will be forever grateful for his quick thinking outside the box because without this temporary fix I wouldn't have been able to continue working this summer.

Our 2nd home away from home was broken into and damaged by some punk, it was so upsetting. Ramsey picked up our trailer and took it to his shop and returned it to us better than it ever was! He dealt with our pain in the butt insurance company and ensured we were well taken care of! Thank you to Ramsey and his shop for putting our home back together we could not be happier and more grateful!

WOW! What can I say? Stuck on the side of the 14 FWY with a broken suspension on my fifth wheel (trailer frame was twisted and torn). Ramsey, the owner of this business, pulled over to ask if I needed help. 7 hours later he had me back on the road. The details of the repair, not as important as the fact that he went completely out of his way to get me going (including a 60-70 mile round trip to his shop in Simi to get the proper tools for the repair) All this on a Friday night when he was almost home with his son in the car. He has earned my business forever!!!

very busy shop but worth the wait. no games or BS pricing increase when they see you have a top of the line unit. we purchase a Renegade Toter and stacker and the condition of the unit wasnt as listed within 6 month the things was having major issues and these guys have been fixing everything month by month. quotes up front and we knock items out as they have time and i have budget
