I went in a little over an hour before closing for a simple trim. The stylist was quick and attentive, and my hair looks great! I don't usually get my hair cut very often, but I'll definitely come back. Thank you!

This is such an amazing place to get your hair cut. I have long hair and sometimes I get nervous to go to new shop's but I think I've found my new regular shop! The lady in there had been cutting hair for 20 years and she was extremely friendly and talked with me like I was a regular! The vibe was amazing and all I had to do was show a picture and she went to work! The haircut didn't take long but at times I wished it lasted longer. It was a really good overall experience and the customer service was amazing. All I had to do was walk in and bam just like that I was in a chair, if you're looking for an exceptional haircut experience please come to Fantastic Sams. This is the legit deal!

I didn’t have anyone in particular that I was seeing even though I had an appointment. I was given the next available person and boy was I ever pleased!! I needed color to cover my gray roots and an inch cut off because my ends were a mess. I was blessed to have Celine who absolutely blew me away with the finished product!! I have had a lot of compliments!

I am SO glad I decided to stop in here the last time I needed a cut and met Cyndi, my new stylist going forward! I was a little nervous trying someone new- my hair is at that fun, over 55 thinning stage and isn't the easiest to make look decent but I had a style that worked for me and all I needed was a trim and some reshaping that I just couldn't justify spending over $80.00 for at the previous salon I'd used. Cyndi took that style and made it even better! She is a great communicator and after asking me how I wanted it to look, she proceeded to carefully cut it, checking in with me as she went. It turns out she is a real artist and has a natural intuition in how to adapt a style to what looks best for that client. She is caring, gentle and conscientious and I left the shop feeling good about my look again, all at a more than reasonable price and short wait time- highly recommend!

This place deserves 0 stars, making the appointment and getting in was easy because there are no customers. This should have been my first hint. My hair stylist (didn't catch her name) was a very sweet plump older woman with an out of country accent. All I went in for was a 2 inch trim, I told her not blunt and not straight across in the back I wanted a rounded look to it. I told her my hair is thin and fragile. She grabbed a spray bottle and comb and started wetting my dry hair and combing from top to bottom. Anyone who has tangled hair knows you should brush from bottom to top, so you don't cause more breakage. In this case the stylist was yanking my hair out with the comb as she was trying to detangle it. She was not gentle whatsoever. After having my hair ripped out we went right to the trim with no warning. As she was trimming my hair she was looking around and talking to another associate. She finished my trim only separating my hair into 4 sections and it only took 5 minutes. I knew she was rushing because after my trim she didn't even brush my hair out or look at it lined up on my back. She didn't even give me a mirror. The grand total was $30. Not expensive at all but I definitely could have done the same hack job with some kitchen scissors for free. Since the appointment last week I have been wearing my hair up, it's so choppy. I will not being going back to Fantastic Sams.

My mother went here today and told the girl to put an extra $5 for tip and the woman ringing her up kept saying 8 and my mother told her to do a $5 not $8 tip and she was charged $8 anyway. This was her first time here. This employee is not within the right to charge an extra $3 unauthorized because she felt she could. That is unprofessional and you shouldn't take advantage of an older woman.

I would rate them a zero if possible. Cindy was the stylist. Worst hair experience ever. Go someplace else. Don't waste your time with this stylist. My daughter left in tears. This was the Simi location, on LA avenue near Stater Bros.

Went to this location yesterday. I asked for trim of 1 inch. I had a layered bob when I came in and walked out with something MUCH DIFFERENT and shorter... I was asked if ok when done. Too late. What do you want me to say at that point. Then, I was told it was 28.95. I told her to add 5.00. Then she gives me a receipt to sign and see 8.00 tip for herself. Stunning. I should have gone to the one in Granadanhill as they are 5 star awesome. Hoping hair grows back soon.
