Our cat was sick and we found out our Veterinarian had moved from another facility to Valley Veterinary Clinic (30 miles away) We trust Dr. Megan Thomas and would follow her anywhere to care for our cats. She is thorough, detailed and it was such a relief to find her again. What a pleasant experience at Valley Veterinary Clinic. From the first call to the visit, everyone was so helpful and kind. Dina and Mindy are top notch as well as both Vet Techs (sorry I didn't get your names) you all did such a great job. I also liked the separate waiting areas for Dogs and Cats. The facility is older and I LOVED the warm atmosphere; don't change a thing. You could tell so many fur families have been cared for here. Everything was spotless and organized. What a great place to find to care for our cats. Thank you for taking such good care of Walter. He is already feeling much better.

I've been going to Valley veterinary clinic for over 10 years now and have always had a pleasant experience. The doctors and all the staff are so helpful and thorough. Dr. Novy is so nice and quite the character. Yesterday I saw Dr. Susan Katila and she helped so intently with our sweet little guy. I can't thank you enough for all you do.

Took my dog there for a check up and ended up needing surgery. They took such good care of her. They even follow up with phone calls. Follow up visits at no charge.

The front office staff was amazing. They were so nice and gave the impression that they really do care for the pets they are checking in. The building looks outdated but that's not the staffs fault! Brought my cat in for an unknown skin condition. Dr. Brown was very nice and gentle with my kitty. While it wasn't obvious what was wrong, he gave us medication and we'll be back in 10 days. Overall it was a pleasant visit.

I have been coming to Valley Vet for 14 years. We have always liked the doctors and have had good experiences. However, this morning I called to make an appointment to have 3 stitches removed from my dogs ear that VSEC had put in. (It was a grooming accident). Deana, the office staff had answered my call and was telling me to go back to VSEC. I told her that VSEC told me to have my vet remove them in 2 weeks. I was completely flabbergasted that she wasn't relenting. IT'S 3 STITCHES!!! I wasn't getting rude, I was trying to get clarification as to why she wasn't going to make me an appointment. Then the phone went dead. I called back and was talking to Melissa and went over the scenario. Deana got back in the phone and said I was rude. At that point I'm I then told her to throw away my file, I'll go somewhere else and she hung up on me again. I wish the awesome doctors there knew how the office staff was running that place. It's very sad, we loved that vet.

For the last 12 years the folks at Valley Vet have been taking care of my pug and chihuahua. Sometimes of an emergency basis but mostly for routine issues. The front office people, the technicians and the veterinarians are all wonderful. My fur babies receive the best care each and every time. I never have to wait long for appointments, lab results or medication. I highly recommend Dr. Novy and his staff of professionals. They will take great care of your fur babies.

This office used to be amazing before Dr. Katila. We have seen this doctor 3 times with our 3 dogs and every single time she hasn't been able to tell us what's wrong but somehow we leave with $100 worth of medication. How can you prescribe a medication when you don't know what issues we are addressing..?? Our dog hurt his leg somehow, so she gave us 2 different kinds of pain meds (why? No idea) and 2 different kinds of anti-inflammatory meds... the medications do the same thing, so why did we need multiples of each? She also asked us the same questions over an over, didn't answer ANY of our questions and told us to get his teeth cleaned. We came for his hurt leg and left with "be sure to get his teeth cleaned".... PLEASE ADDRESS THE ISSUE WE CAME FOR!! Another time, my grandma's doggo was having tummy troubles and itchy skin. She tried to give us a neck cone to prevent him from itching and some medication to prevent infection and told us to "be sure to stretch him out every morning" (again, not the issue we came for) I asked her about a recommendation for a shampoo- no answer. I have no idea how she has any good reviews on here, as she has not been helpful to us at all whenever we see her and I have NEVER felt heard when she is the doctor to help us. I don't even mind the extra advice about stretching and getting their teeth cleaned, but when I come in regarding a specific issue and you don't listen, and we leave with irrelevant information, that's an issue. The other veterinarians and nurses at this location are great. It's literally just her.

Been coming here for years, and I admire Dr Novy. This most recent visit I met Dr. Sue Katila. I was impressed with her care and concern for my old guy, and by following her recommendations we have seen a huge change! Grover is acting 5 years younger! He's back to being spunky and happy! Thank you Dr. Sue Katila!

Dr Katila and the staff of this location Kiera Dina everyone were amazing in a crisis situation with my dog yesterday my dog was shaking so bad seizure like screaming and lame. Just couldn't walk without struggle. I called them after my regular vet rancho sequoia turned me away rude inconsiderate and uncaring even seeing the condition of my dog because I walked in without an appointment and there wasn't but one person in the waiting room who even offered me his appointment. Anyway I had been to valley vet with my dads dogs (both dad and dog have since passed) so I had a file and they heard what I was dealing with and asked if I could get there in ten minutes and I replied wirh "I'll be there in 3". Thank for for them as they diagnosed my dog had such a horrible ear infection that the meds I had been getting on refill from rancho sequoia wasn't helping and created such a build up of bacteria at the ear drum or travelled. They pulled some kind of magic wirh treatment and meds for might I mention a phenomenal price in an emergency situation from a fur baby I thought I would lose yesterday and today my boy is up happy and just back to normal. All because of the care and consideration of the empathetic value of Valley vet and their team.

My dog was having a breathing episode. He was shaking and coughing. This is a usual occupancy and I knew what was was going on. But he needs to be seen so he can get help. I called at 4:15. They close at 5. They said to bring him in. No appointment. They took him back right away. They kept me updated and were very kind and compassionate. They explained everything and in no time, he was back to normal. Thank you Valley Vet for always being so good to me and my best friend.

Negligent of obvious symptoms needing treatment even when suggested Valium Dr was more concerned about letting dog out to pee than starting iv for Valium or other benzo to prevent seizure in back yard .pet never recovered and died. Picky and elitist office staff. Would steer clear of this place.

Over the last 20 years I have taken all my pets to valley vet and been very happy, today I had the opposite experience. The Dr. I saw was very rude, my 3 year old son had a hard time keeping his mask on and kept wanting to take it off. When the Dr came in she threw a tantrum and wouldn't even come in the exam room because he didn't want to wear it even though I was trying to put it back on. She went into the main office area and threw a fit out were other clients and staff were. My 3 year old ended up becoming more upset by the way she was acting and scolding me and him. It was embarrassing and super unprofessional of her. She should try having a little compassion for a 3 year old who has been waiting in a waiting room and in an exam room over 20 mins past our appointment time. Never going here again. Shame on her.

I used to really like this vet, until COVID hit. Now you still can't go in with your fur baby to see what's going on, their site says one can but if you try, they make you feel about an inch high. Also they were never about the almighty dollar, that has also changed, you can't get a script from anyone but them ( they don't trust a company whos been around forever, but we are supposed to trust them???) What happened to freedom of choice and getting the best care for you fur baby? Well, if you pay them triple for meds doesn't leave much to give in other areas. Until they fix these issues, my fur babies will go elsewhere.

I use to take my old dogs here and was VERY hesitant to bring my new dog in but this time the vets and staff are amazing! They were super friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. There was about a 40 minute wait even though I had an appointment but I know it's just because of covid and they truly do spend as much time as they can with animals.

I had an appointment at 11:00am. Stayed in my car for 2 1/2 hours just so they can check my dogs ears. Service, communication is horrible. They gave my some meds. The fig felt worst. Called the next day to complain. They gave me another appointment stating that they won't charge me for office visit. They took the dog for a check up and exactly 5 minutes later they brought him back. Just to say the doctor will call you stay in your car but you need to bring him back next week. Well, that doctor did not call or come out. Save your money and go somewhere else. You don't believe me try calling.
