Would not recommend, had to change rooms from 308 to 416 because it was not clean and me and my daughter were itching. All the covers were checked and there was hair and stains on the sheets? Who pays money to itch in a hotel that’s suppose to provide comfort while traveling. We could not get a refund so we were forced to stay. Staff member Alayza is not very welcoming. I asked to pay for a late check out due to late departure and was told 6 other ppl are checking out late and they are Gold members so I cannot be accommodated. Yes this location is located next to Walmart and other stores but it doesn’t matter if you have a car. Overall, I wish the best for this establishment but will not return. Also, plz be more kind and generous to paying customers who’s paying their money to keep the business running.

Great location for visiting Reagan Library or moving through … close to freeway, and groceries, restaurants within walking distance.

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we found hair all over the bathroom. I spoke with Atefeh Kamankesh, the General Manager, and I was assured they would clean the bathroom. After they supposedly “cleaned” the bathroom, we went back to the room and there was still hair everywhere! I picked up the phone to call the GM and there was even hair on the phone!!!!!!!! SO DISGUSTING!!!!! Do not stay here!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely repulsive!!!

Stayed during the week for 2 nights.. Nice location. The room was quiet, and the employees were helpful. Nice lobby area, smaller eating area, and a market off the lobby where you could buy snacks or drinks.
Rooms: Nice sized room with fridge, coffee machine and microwave. We had it with 2 queen size beds. Very comfortable.
Food & drinks: Nearby food restaurants, shopping and coffee places. Some within walking distance.

Second time staying at this Marriott. Called at around 1PM to try to check in early and the friendly staff told me to come and they would accommodate us. we ended up going straight to our event but it was nice to know our room was ready. Didn’t have any issues with the room or the staff but we tried to contact my teen that fell a sleep in the room and were told calls couldn’t be connected to the room to call his cell. He didn’t have a cell phone so it was very strange. I kept telling her the room number and our personal info but because of privacy the call couldn’t get transferred. I understand but at the same time it didn’t make sense to have a phone in the room if you can’t use it. Everything else was fine. The location is perfect right in the middle of Simi Valley, close to Costco, Walmart, coffee shops, etc.

Good hotel: comfortable rooms, friendly personnel, good breakfasts (cooked on the request), convenient location. There is a small pool together with jacuzzi.

I originally booked a king size room for a wedding. I was told by the bride I was added to her list of guests. When I arrived I was told the hotel had been overbooked and I was put into a two full bed room, which wasn't told to me when I arrived. I discovered it when I opened my door. They refused to change it even tho I have paid and booked my room in full. My mini fridge was unplugged the whole time.When I asked about the gift bags the bride and groom provided to the hotel they said I wasn't on the list and there were no bags left. I later found out from the bride she had called that morning to make sure there were enough bags for the guests checking in that day, and made sure my name was on her list. When the bride and groom themselves checked in, they didn't receive their own bags!!! They made the bags!! Where did they go??I'm an event/ wedding planner in the area. I am constantly looking for hotels to recommend to my clients that will be helpful and reliable. I will not be recommending this hotel in the future.

Currently staying at this hotel, we made our reservations months ago for a room with a king bed. After flying across country and driving in from Los Angeles we arrived here at exactly 3pm (scheduled check in time) and were told that they didn’t have our room we reserved but instead gave us another room with two queen beds. We were told that this is common practice! Well it’s never happened to us with any of the Hiltons we’ve stayed with. No free coffee in the mornings but they have what’s called a Starbucks in the bar in the morning. Doesn’t take Starbucks gift cards and it will cost you 9 dollars for two medium coffees. We are supposed to be here a week, we’ll see.UPDATE:I wrote this review WHILE STAYING HERE and received the owners response while there as well. No attempt was made to remedy the situation just the weak reply you see below. They clearly don't care. Our room was musty and noisy due to being across from the housekeeping staging room. By far the worst Marriott I've ever stayed at.

Quite a few issues for being what is considering an above average branding for Marriott.Always out of towels in pool. Their excuse, people are taking them and keeping them in their rooms. Yet they provided no alternative towels. Also, chicken or the egg. If you don't clean rooms daily, or even enter the room to pull towels then this problem happens.Internet service for their streaming options was poor. Complaints by other guests as when I called I was added to the "list" of people who had issues with Netflix.Laundry service was nice, but they had incorrect signage about pricing. Sign says detergent available for 99 cents. Desk says we don't have that option. Point out the sign and just get a shoulder shrug.Beds were comfy. Fridge and microwave in room. Coffee machine items never replenished.Disappointed for the quality expected.
