Took my Nissan in for a check engine light and they were able to diagnose and resolve the issue within hours. Efficient service and great staff. I will definitely be coming here again.

I rarely write reviews and yet I use them myself. I have a 2020 Kia Soul with a little over 40K miles. Up till now, I have been taking it to the dealer for oil changes. It hasn't needed any other maintenance yet. I wanted to find a local mechanic as I had no intention of using the dealer for bigger stuff. Based on others' reviews, I decided to take a chance on BJ's. I took my car in for an oil change. They had that done in 30 minutes BUT, Sue, the co-owner, called to tell me that I neeed rear brakes. It was a difficult call for her. I come in, a potential new client, and right away I am being told I need additional work. She didn't want to pressure me, but she wanted to show me the brakes because she said I was almost metal to metal. She felt that the rotors were still okay, but I only had maybe 200 miles before that would not be the case and replacing rotors would add $200 onto the job. I was not completely surprised. The dealer had told me at the last visit that I would be needing brakes "next time." I did not know how I was going to rearrange the very full day ahead of me. I did the math and realized I couldn't wait. Sue knew I was stressed about time. She put 2 mechanics to work on it right away. They had it done in 40 minutes (rotors did not need replacing)! AND, the price was great, at least a couple of hundred dollars under the dealer estimate. I've found my new local mechanic!

We have had our vehicles repaired at BJ Automotive in Simi Valley.
The Ram 1500 had the front brakes and rotors replaced, and the Toyota Avalon had the front struts replaced.
The work was completed in a timely manner, and we are pleased with the work done and the cost of the repairs. We will be returning for any future repairs.
The shop is very clean and well maintained.
The owners, Brad and Sue, are super nice and a pleasure to do business with. We are happy to have found a reliable and trustworthy business and highly recommend them.

We put our trust in BJ's and they did not disappoint...my daughter is in So Cal for college and I am in Sacramento this was a huge concern to find someplace honest to get her car fixed, Sue was very sweet and took care of her. THANK YOU!!

I simply couldn’t afford to take my car to the dealership to be serviced and needed an honest mechanic who I could trust to work on my baby. My parents recommended BJ’s and I am so glad they did. Sue took the time to go over my options and gave me a more than fair price. My car is driving like it’s brand new again. I would recommend this establishment to anyone in need of service. I would rate 20 stars if I could.

I have been going to BJ's for over 15 years. BJ, Sue and the team are always honest, transparent, compassionate, knowledgeable, and work tirelessly to make your vehicle right. I not only recommend them but I eoukd drive from out of state to have them work on my vehicles. They are above exceptional.

BJ Auto is the best experience I have had ever at an auto shop. I will not go anywhere else and am recommending it anyone that crosses my path. They are honest, fair, and extremely knowledgeable. I had a really unfortunate repair that they fixed completely and took the time to explain to me what happened. Above and beyond. Thank you BJ's!

We’ve been taking our cars to BJ’s for 9 years and have always been really happy with the service and attention we get from them. They are always very communicative regarding the status of our vehicles and are quick to respond to calls and texts. It never feels like they are pushing us toward unnecessary maintenance or other expenditures. Whenever I drop off a car Sue asks when I need it back and they usually are able to accommodate my schedule, but if not she tells me upfront so I can plan accordingly.We really value the friendliness and professionalism of BJ’s and will continue to take our cars here for the foreseeable future!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

I called BJ’s Automotive to get a quote since I had another mechanic from a different shop diagnose my problem and quoted what I thought may have been too high. When I talked to Sue at BJ’s she insisted that I told her where I took my vehicle and what they quoted me. I told her I didn’t feel like that was relevant information and she told me I wasn’t a good fit for their shop and she hung up on me. Why should I have to tell you what another shop quoted me? And to turn me away when I didn’t want to tell her? Pretty unprofessional. 2 thumbs down ? ?

I went to bjs on multiple occasions feeling a lil unsure about my car purchase and without them i could've bein in a hole. Thease people are honest and trustworthy always a pleasure to come here and get top notch service. They are very good people and will always have my buisness and love.

If I can give BJ's Automotive and their staff an extra star I would. Their staff and techs are more knowledgeable than the dealership I tried to use. I got a quote for over 3K at the dealership, but with their techs due diligence, they were actually able to resolve the problem for 1/3 of the price! Not to mention Sue kept us updated every step of the way making this process very smooth and stress-free. I definitely will be coming back, this is my new shop in the area without a doubt. I highly recommend BJ's automotive if you want a honest shop.

I have been dealing with BJ's for years. They are amazing!! I never felt taken advantage of. Sue is honest, thorough and hard working. Their prices can't be beat. I trust BJ's for all of my car needs. I highly recommend checking them out.
