I used to see PA Nancy Menges. She was always rushing me out of the office after a minute or two of talking about my illnesses. I felt like she took my money and spouted a few words off a chart at me and I was always left with the same issues I went in with. Most recently, I got shingles, knew I had shingles because my mom had just gotten over it and the rash was exactly the same, and went in to get some antibiotics from Nancy. She told me the rash was stretch marks and sent me home. Well, I was right and ended up at urgent care where they diagnosed me with shingles and gave me the antibiotics I knew I needed in the first place. Nancy’s laziness will end someone’s life someday if it already hasn’t.

Staff nice enough, but billing dept needs some serious help. Keep track of ALL your records...payments, charges, and for what. they will make mistakes, I'm looking for another Med group in Simi because of billing. Seems since Bruce Nelson left, place went into the crapper. Appts generally 20-30 mins late.

Absolute WORST front office. Nurse Practitioner's aide dropped the ball on my wife's care. My wife called multiple times to get help. Aide lied to my wife and then, to cover her incompetence, lied to the practitioner, who CUT the approved treatment for my wife and said that she would no longer treat her. The aide said my wife cursed at her. My wife works in customer service and would not have done that... though I would have. Alta needs to put the "Care" back in health care.

First they gave us an initial appointment with a doctor who was quitting that day and then they scheduled us the wrong doctor so we had to reschedule a month later. Then we just had a newborn and we were 10 mins late and they wanted to reschedule again for another month. Incompetent and non-understanding staff. Do not go here!!!

Great office and medical staff and very clean! I called after having issues with the office of a referral for a specialist I needed to see and Sandy took the time to go through everything with me. She was very kind and patient, which I really appreciated!

My wife tried calling for a telephone appointment and was told nothing was available for two months. Dr. K is fantastic but apparently no longer available to see patients.

I started seeing Dr. Perez 2019 she was nice and helpful office staff. When 2020 came something happened, we do know about Dr. Dominic Muzsnaibeing killed by a train, I did not hear from her until May. She refilled all meds and I had a video chat with her. Come 2021 that is when she turned on me. Her staff and her, I had to use dirty needles (3) because office staff was to stupid to send them with my pens, she did not renew my RX'S until they ran out! Had to have a blood test within a month's time had (2) video chats of which cost me 187.00 (due to ded.) for a big waste of time, first one was her P.A. Leslie B of which is a horrible person. I have since found a local Doctor to fit all my needs. But it was hard cause I was out of daily meds. She also would not contact me of which made my Husband delivery of his med's late though he was not seeing any Doctor there. Do not get involved with them, there billing department will threaten you with collections even though your insurance has not paid the amount or it goes to ded. I think they are having some really issues, Office Staff, Office Mgr. and Doc's many have left, I noted Dr. Nelson is no long er there. Rude Medical Staff that is not the way to run a office especially in these times, everyone in the office have left and there are all new people. Yes, I know that because I was in the Medical Field for 30 yrs. Do not see her she also tries to get you to have test that she is not qualified for. She did not follow me at all with my issues. I think since the old Medical Staff and Dr. Muzsnai died I have to say it should close down, because the quality of care is gone, just like Dr. Muzsnai. May this great healer Rest in Peace, and may Gods look over his family.

UPDATE! After having been alerted to original post, Dr. Perez was magnanimous enough to call me and discuss my issue. She was very understanding and accommodating, and was eager to remedy the problem. We discussed ways we could both, as doctor and patient, to facilitate better communication. My faith in Dr. Perez is totally restored, both as a physician and as a nice person.

I justo took my mother to see Dr. Perez. She was so wonderful. Very thorough with all my mother's concerns and for a referral approved while we were still in the office. This was a great visit and I am very happy with the whole experience.

I was a patient with this practice for almost 25 years, until today. The incompetence of the staff, specially their office manager, most incompetent of them all. They had a great physician and kept all of them in check, sadly he passed recently and ever since, the practice has gone to hell in a hen basket. Hence the number 10 low rating they have and the many 1 star reviews. I will not ever recommend this place to anyone, even if I had enemies, I wouldn't even recommend this place to them!

I had my annual physical with Dr. Odio today. It was a great experience. I rarely see a physician, and have high standards when I do. He was warm and welcoming, answered all my questions and listened closely to my concerns. I never felt rushed or stressed, like I usually do. He is calming and caring. I have seen other doctors here, and they are a cut above other medical groups in the area. The nursing and office staff are friendly and professional, and my wait time was under 15 minutes.

Dr. M. Kushigemachi is my personal PCP. He has been with me and my husband for 20 years. I'm 57 now. I trust him. He has wonderful bedside manners. He is enthusiastic. Makes me feel important. His nurse assistant is professional and will tell you what your B/P and other information like weight if you ask. I need to make notes of it. He gives me a thorough check up every 6 months. Reminds me of yearly mammogram, blood lab work every year and hands me a stool kit. A stool kit? Yes, it helps to check colon status and parasites which is nice because I have dogs. Another person is DNP Jun Kim who helped me when I needed immediate mental health care. She did not dismiss my urgent health scare and it was addressed. I am healthy, vibrant, mental and emotionally stable all due to Alta Medical Group - Simi Valley Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and PA's.
