I am livid at the multiple bad experiences I have had at the USBank location on cherry in Long Beach since I opened my account early last month. Since not a single employee bothers to do any work when I'm there in person I'm having to leave a public negative review of which ive never done in hopes they either see this and clean up their service or to help others avoid them. I opened a secondary bank account here in person with their Teller. i brought and offered my SS card whcih was not asked for, and turns out the teller mistyped my social by one number - resulting in my account being frozen and my unable to do anything with this account - pay bills, anything for weeks now. sitting heee now as I type this in the US bank parking lot after leaving for a third time in a week with this unresolved i am shaking with anger for their gross negligence in mishandling and their excuses. when I first came in last week to ask why suddenly sans explanation my new account was shut down the teller just looked confused and sent me off to Jason who claims to be the Manager. Jason seemed to think this was my error and presumed to say " oh you opened it online huh ", and no I did not, I pointed directly to the teller who did and mistyped. no big deal it happens - it's how a company FIXES an error that measures their worth. he didn't have time for me then, asked me to come back (like we all have free time typically on weekdays in the middle of the day) today, thé 21st is my THIRD visit in a week. i stood in the lobby for 20 minutes (the only one in queue!) as I watched the 3 tellers giggle and drink their Starbucks and eat their snacks and not bother to even greet me their only customer. finally when a teller bothers to speak to me she asks me to sit and wait for Jason who is sitting at his desk literally doing nothing. I can't make this up, it's almost stranger than fiction. he again did not have time for me and I laughed when he asked me to come back in an hour... Jason, some of us get a lunch hour our time is precious amd while I see your staff sits around squandering their time on the clock with their Starbucks and gossip, most of us don't have that luxury. this is the worst repeat offender I've ever dealt with. the us bank CS rep over the phone suggested I take my credentials in person so they can submit them for me and it'll be quicker to get my bank account back to me, but that's incorrect. this man and his staff just waste clients precious time. I'm speechless as their inability as a body of people to literally do anything or resolve any issues, speaking of mine which they had 3 chances to do. i have never experienced worse customer service in in my life and still have a frozen bank account that's impacting my life RIGHT NOW. this staff at this location simply do not care at all about their clients. SHAME ON YOU ALL.

US Bank needs to change their policy regarding when mobile banking funds are made available. I was recently a victim of check fraud and sent money out of my account due to FULL funds being made available within 24 hours. US Bank doesn't care. My dispute was denied and I was essentially told that they have a "0 tolerance" policy & that the onus is on me to deposit checks that aren't fraudulent into my account. As though the average person is supposed to be some sort of check fraud expert. I ate $2000 as a result. I recently deposited a check into my new account with my new bank and they put a 3 day hold on it. Was it a little frustrating yes, but at least I know that my new bank has my best interest at heart. I will not go quietly into the night on this US BANK! I hope you enjoy that extra $2,000 because it not worth what Im going to do to your reputation!

Had a very bad experience here. Let feeling awful. I have been with this bank for over 20 years, before it was US bank. I have never been so upset during any process!It should have been a pleasant experience. I'm always bragging about my bank and brought someone with me. He is struggling with health issues and considering opening an account. After he said he was upset that I continue to give my business to such a place. I apologized that I took him out for that display. I still defended US bank in that this is a one- time incident to be corrected. Must be this branch!The manager and banker were both very curt with me. The manager even raised his voice to make me respond to questions I was weary of answering. If I wasn't in need of that product, that day, I wouldn't walked out.There are more details to add, but these are enough to support my rating.Overall, I'm very disappointed. The way the banker and the manager were acting, was unprofessional. I realize that I was questioning the data collection, but as i disclosed, I'm in data integrity and always question it. They seemed so offended. As a female and a Latina, I couldn't help, but to feel discrimination undertones, based on the men who "helped" me.

This review has been long overdue. Reason for 1 star is I requested to withdraw a large sum of cash from this branch and they did not have that amount of cash available and had the audacity to ask me what I planned to do with my cash. Like it's none of your business what I plan to do with my money. I've been banking with US Bank for some time, and to not even have that amount available at this branch is ridiculous, and makes me think twice of banking here and put my funds elsewhere. No wonder branches are closing and wouldn't be surprised if this one did as well. Also, they need to train their employees. They were playing loud music from their phone and was dressed casually. So obviously customer service and professionalism isn't a priority here at this branch.

This Branch is horrible! I should up 20 mins before closing. 5 clerks in the building. Only one bank teller working on transactions at the counter. We literally stood in line past closing (30 mins) to make a simple deposit. I asked the Manager for assistance and she said to wait in line. Mean while everyone was at their prospective desks not doing anything. Wasteful use of employees. DONT GO HERE!
