I booked a truck for 7am. Turned up, was told to collect my keys from box 3 and to put a combination into a lock. As you can see box 3 has no lock on it, and likely hasn't for a long time. I had to call U-Haul and book my truck from another store. However, this meant a wait of 2h, which messed up all my moving plans. Last time I use U-Haul. Talk about trash service.

I was thinking about requesting services from this facility until I went to the back of this location and parked and noticed a pile of someone's belongings "dumped" on the curb next to a dumped mattress with someone sleeping on it. This was a complete turn off. Not only that..when I returned to my car there was a ticket on my windshield!!***A word of advice..if you're going to park in the back of this facility..DO NOT PARK ACROSS THE STREET!!! This is permit parking only!!***I found out the hard way!! I wouldn't feel safe storing my belongings at this storage facility because I noticed several transients/tweekers lingering around the back. I'm not sure why they would be hanging around a storage facility unless there were drugs around or an opportunity to steal someone's items if left alone.

Called to inform me an hour before the pickup time saying that they won't be in office, asked me to come later, and when I came at the time they told me to come back, THE STORE IS CLOSED! WASTING MY TIME

I rented a pickup truck for a 4 hour rental to pick up patio furniture from Vons Pavillons on 05/30/2021. The pickup time was scheduled for 4:45 pm and they closed at 5 pm. I reserved this truck on my phone and declined pads and boxes. Once reserved it gave a preliminary total of $76.19. I returned the truck in 2 hours with my brother-in-law. The final bill was adjusted to about $57.00. However, my credit card still reflected the $76.19. After calling their customer service line to dispute the charge, I was told on speaker that they are aware of a system glitch that charges customers for things like boxes, straps and padding even though it may be declined. Here it is 2 months later and my issue is still not resolved. Be aware and ask questions. Best to reserve in person and read the contract. They also charge $20 for after hours drop off. Wow.

Went to pay for storage, the guy said he was on a 10 min break to wait or come back. My partner came back a few hours later to pay the storage and the guy said he was just about to go on break, so he would have to wait or come back. WTH, what kind of place is this? Is there no service at anytime, how to you get people to rent from you?

Took one second to buy something and literally twenty minutes to return a box that wouldn’t fit in my car. Do not buy extra boxes. Returning is archaic at this establishment.

My experience was terrible, and I am planning to file a complaint. I made a reservation 2 weeks prior for 1 direct way and was sent notification less than 24 hours that a reservation was changed to round trip. I had to make extra time, gas, inconvenience to bring back the truck to downtown. It was so unprofessional that you didn’t offer any help or options and was just told straight “no” on everything. It was also not even a location I chose to pick up. The “call center” reservation people so called “managers“ were uneducated with absolutely no training. This is absolute the worst experience I ever had for a years.

When I tried to rent a truck I was met by this rude girl with poor customer service skills. Obviously everyone leaving reviews about her on the Uhaul website feels the same way. I'm surprised she hasn't gotten fired yet. She didn't know I had a card on file and said I needed to pay in cash. So I went to the 711 across the street and had to get cashback 3 times. When I got back she didn't know that I had to pay a deposit. Luckily I had a card on file, which she didn't check because it was a last resort. When this most certainly was a last resort. She then didn't clearly tell me where to deposit the key when I was done. The deposit box was labeled a mailbox so I didn't want to drop it off and get charged with a lost key. So i returned the next day. To top it all off, she charged me twice, out of spite. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
