Had an issue with a CPU installation that resulted in my PC power cycling and not working. Took it here to have someone professional look at it (before I messed something else up ). Turned out my motherboard was fried (so props to me for not messing up my new CPU after my first time trying to install a CPU). Long story short, they installed a new motherboard, new CPU, and new cooling system for me.They said it would only take a day, but instead it took about 3ish. Rather than doing a rushed job and meeting the initial estimated finish date, they needed to swap out my cooling system for a better one because it would have ruined my new CPU (Ryzen 9 5095X) due to it overheating. So I HIGHLY appreciated them going the extra mile and noticing this for me. They also tested everything before giving it back to me for QA purposes. I'd rather wait the extra few days and potentially save hundreds of dollars. They could've not done anything and had me come back later to pay for more repairs. They gave me a lot of advice as well and SHOWED me what they were doing before they did it. There was a lot of trust involved in this repair, and it paid off (pun absolutely intended). Definitely will be coming back for future upgrades. Learned a lot about computers in this process.As for the computer itself, it's running like a beast. Very powerful and very quiet surprisingly (more so than before). I wanted to wait a day after I got my computer to test out the programs I use and it's working great. When I picked up my tower, they showed me what parts were in the rig, that the display was working, and that the parts they said they were going to install were there. Kept me updated and sent me photos to show me progress. Very transparent and communicative.

My sister's computer would not turn on. Jonas analyzed it and in 15 minutes knew the hard drive needed replaced. He got the part in one day and got the computer working and it works great with no data lost.

Great service. I was able to recover all of my files, documents and pictures from my death lap top. I'm very happy with their services. Jonas was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me the option to recover all my documents and or to repair the laptop. I will definitely recommend this business.

I had some issue with the printer and wanted quick help at the same time at a reasonable price as you know nowadays printer costs cheap. I took it to Modern computers as I have done some work in the past when they were in Cerritos and got that taken care of within two hours at a very nominal charge.

I had a problem with an installation of a system that I worked on myself, but made a major mistake and made it unusable. I called Modern Computers out of frustration and was very, very please with the service. I telephoned on a Thursday afternoon and withing an hour there was someone at my home who picked up all the components. I got a diagnosis a couple of hours later and updates were phoned to me in a timely manner. By Friday afternoon the system was up and working. And even afterward I got a follow-up call to make sure everything was fine. I'll be recommending and using this service from now on.

I was having a problem reading my data out of a failed hard drive but Modern Computer Systems was able to retrieve it. My hard drive had broken parts and also a virus which was detected by them and they told me it would take a couple of days. They called me asking if I would like to move forward with recovering the data and I approved. When I came by the store to pick it up they said they fully recovered all my data and not only that but also organized all my files together. I know that the hard drive would be a hassle but they definitely finished the job and went above and beyond of what I asked. Thank you Modern Computer System for a wonderful job you did! I salute you!

Had a problem with my laptop Hard drive and brought it to Modern Computer systems. Both Jonas and Julio did a great job by replacing the hard drive. Price was reasonable and now everything is up and running! Thank you!

I recently took my Mac Airbook to Modern Computers and they did an excellent job. My laptop had stopped working after an International flight. I took it to the Applw genius bar and they advised I would spend more than I paid for it to fix it. On a chance I called Modern Computers. I am so glad I did! The very next day they had my computer working and had even upgraded my OS! They were friendly and professional and reasonable! I highly recommend them.

I definitely would recommend this company, Hector and Jonas both very professional and courteous, a lot of time and energy went into fixing my computer, i did have to take computer back a few times yet there effort and energy was so appreciated and there was a happy ending. Went in here looking for someone I was referred to, for a cracked screen. I asked if I was in the right place, showed them the business card I had for phone repairs. They took the card and said yes they could help me. I asked if I was in the right place, again I received a yes. They took my phone to the back to get fixed. While I was waiting another person walked in asking for the same person. They said they had spoken to him on the phone. Then realized they were in the wrong location. Since they had no idea what he was talking about because clearly, they had not spoken. Right in front of me this guy calls the person he spoke to and realized he was in the wrong spot. They tried again to say he was in the right spot and could help him, however,(he was smarter than I and figured it out) the location he was looking for was a little further down. This place straight out lied to me, and tried to lie to the other customer. I am all for trying to get business, but lying like that just tells me that they are shady and will lie about other things too. How can I trust anything they say. your trust the work they were already doing on my phone. BEWARE
