Initially, my experience with the service was exceptional, which is why I rated it highly. However, a recent incident has significantly changed my perspective.Update: During a period of travel, I needed to cancel memberships for my three dogs. Prior to cancellation, I requested the staff to ensure that all benefits included in the package were utilized for each of my pets. Unfortunately, three months later, while I was abroad, I discovered that services were performed for only one of my dogs for an entire new year without my consent. This oversight resulted in an unexpected and substantial bill for services I had never authorized.Furthermore, there seems to be a lack of attention to detail in handling membership cancellations, which is concerning. What adds to the frustration is the difficulty in communicating with the service; my attempts to address this issue have been met with a lack of response and accountability. I am adamant about not paying for a mistake that was not mine. A prompt resolution and acknowledgement of this oversight would be appreciated.

Another corporation sucking the most money out of their consumers at any point possible.1) You'll never be able to speak to your Vet face-to-face, they hide in the back and relay information to receptionists2) Front Receptionists have constant miscommunicaton with Doctors relaying vital information.3) Lack of transparency in store hours post-covid + No in room visits available using "Covid" as the excuse4) Wellness plan doesn't pay for itself considering you pay $60/month + $20/month for Simparico Flea medication, you'll eventually pay for the services you used in the months your dog does't go to the Vet...Honestly, if this placed priotixed the animals well being like they do profits, they wold have a better reputation but thankfully consumers are becoming more aware and reviews allow the truth to be told. Goodbye Banfield! Hello self education and natural remedies!

I have two Havenese fur babies on the Wellness Plan. I signed up in the Charleston area and for 6 years the service there was very good. I have been been back in Long Beach for over a year and the office here is beyond unacceptable. I felt such push back wheneverr I tried to make an appointment, etc. Like other reviewers I think the drop off policy is ridictulous. I have never been able to talk to a vet face to face in a year. Both of my dogs have had anesthesia and I have have been unable to meet the doctor! The office staff is slow and lackiing in training. Last year they had major difficulties answeriing their phones. I visited the office to get my appoints. When my older dog has his teeth cleaned they didn't give him all his vaciines and said to bring hiim back. They also have not provided a stool test . They sent one vacine home with me to give them later. This was several months ago. Today, i went to get the last vacines and asked the people waitiing iin the lobby if they were having the same experience. All the sudden, a doctor comes out in the lobby and tells me and I can't share my experience or ask customers if they are experiencing the same. I say Wow! I get to speak with a doctor after all! I'm cancelling both of my dog's Wellness Plans. It takes at least 20 minutes to just check in, the vets are not willing to speak with you, the rates for prescriptiions are not very reduced. Lastly, the customer service is the worst.Long Beach on Spring Street UpdateTransferred my dogs records to the Seal Beach office and the difference in service is amazing. The Seal Beach office is competent, provides professional customer service and answers their phone .

Was placed on hold for 30 minutes just for them to tell me I need to request them from the other location. Even though I told her what I was calling for since before she put me on hold.

The WORSE customer service EVER. Also, if you have a puppy who will eventually become anything bigger than a chihuahua, don't enroll your dog for their scam monthly program. They'll refuse your dog certain services because Dr. Martha Muriel Kaye, the "professional", is afraid of certain breeds. She'll even go as far to say "it's not even worth it"- verbatim what she said regarding our dog. First of all our dog is not an IT, he is our family. They've declined services to our dog MULTIPLE times, because they don't know how to "deal" with him. The front desk associate with pink and blonde hair has always been unpleasant to work with.

Very thorough hospital. They helped us as we were in a pinch for time. Needed to get our pups tested for Parvo as there was a possible exposure. Devin was so helpful, patient and educational. We were definitely grateful for their accommodation.

Been taking my 10 year old puppy to the signal hill location for years. We love Banfield! Thats all i can say, they are up to date with your pets needs and will text/call/email to remind you of your next appointment so for us busy moms who have missed a few appointment, we are grateful for these reminder. Thank you to the Banfield teams for taking great care of our pets!

The reduced hours are obviously a really big issue when trying to bring pets in but now it seems like any time I call they're closed. they're allegedly open on Fridays but I just called 3 times (and it is in fact Friday) and got a message saying they're closed. I'm going to cancel my wellness plans with banfield for my two dogs and finding a new vet, this is absolutely ridiculous.

Very nice people here! Gabby and oreo i believe that's their names were awesome over the phone and in person. I have 4 stray kittens and just wanted to know the sex of them and in less than 5 minutes i got my answer.The girl in the front was doing it all. She may need more help in the AM when this place opens because lots of people in line but she handled the customers and phones well.

We take our puppy here and the staff is always friendly.They have good prices and financing available.
