Love this place! Well maintained facilities and beautiful landscape. Unfortunately with the addition of the evening soaks during weekends, the night experience has been significantly impacted. It was way too crowded and loud specially in the Dome, which is supposed to be a quiet area. If you are looking to relax, early mornings are the way to go.Food at the restaurant is AMAZING!! Very fresh and tasty - only available from 5:30pm to 8pm but if you make your way here, make sure to stop by!

everyone walks around naked, literally swarming in the small pool. This is very uncomfortable and outrageous. my vacation is ruined by other people's naked belongings, which violates my boundaries. I don't recommend this place to anyone. From one zone to another you need to walk through mud, the distance is about 1 mile. there is no service, the contingent is terrible. You should at least separate the nudists from the dressed ones according to their activities, let these naked ones gather on separate days, so as not to spoil the impression for other people.

Black people! If you wanna stay here make sure that you sign a waiver for the hot springs otherwise they'll make you walk in the cold to go sign that waiver! My boyfriend is white so they didn't even bother him, only me. Racist ass owners! Springs are nice and hot! Just make sure all your guests sign that waiver! They ruined my whole night!

Amazing experience always! Friendly kind staff who go the extra distance to make you feel loved! There was a live spiritual music playing in the main house , really classy and helped me reconnect to my innermost god.. very healing environment all around . I love to support this local business ❤️

We drove our camper and stayed in this place's parking lot in late October. Wonderful experience! Utterly relaxing, non pretentious. The shared kitchen and lobby is my favorite place to hang out. Spring pools are well maintained, plenty of shower space. Everyone is friendly and respectful.

“Lighter and Brighter”: A Review“What you are looking for, IS where you are looking from.”Well it all started when we were planning on going to Lassen National Park. Little did we know the springs are connected to the volcano (heresy). Sulphur, magnesium, potassium… divine gifts, mineral candy land, from ancient earth are your new kindred spirits for the duration of your stay.Be on the lookout for:- dragonflies who want to land on your tent- Janice with the inner radiance- altars on the pool to pool trail- a full moon everyday- light beams of amber and golden rivers shooting out of a saint’s handsRemember to: hydrate, watch the moonrise, & philosophize at the cafe.

Great place to relax. Make sure you bring your own lunch. The cafe hours are limited but you will have access to a kitchen in the lodge.

Rustic, peaceful, private tubs and public tubs, yoga / embodiment offerings daily, general store, daily meals, camping + rooms, sauna, hiking trails. Cherry on top would be very cold plunge {40 degrees}, perhaps we can tempt them for the future :)

So, I've been to Sierra Hot springs twice, once camping for a few days in 2016, then I went again this past week, October 2023. The springs are beautiful and relaxing and I appreciate that this is a clothing optional place. I know that Sierra hot springs and carbon are run by the same people, but they are very different experiences. My biggest complaint about Sierra Hot springs is that they don't seem very keen on enforcing the no talking rule in the pools. Both visits, during every time I went to the pools, they were groups of people yacking at high volume, paying no attention to the signs around the pool that say please speak no louder than the wind, and save your loud conversations for windy days.. the last time I was there there was no wind, and I think people in the pools think that the sign is meant as a joke or something, as they clearly have no comprehension skills to realize that the sign is telling them to be quiet. I go to Sierra and Harbin specifically because of the no talking rule so I can have a meditative experience without having to listen to the same crap I hear people complaining about back at home in the city. Both times I was there I had to ask people to keep their voices down, to which I got nasty catty responses. I really hope that going forward the staff makes clear that these pools aren't for loud socializing, and to keep the loud conversations away from the pools! I think it's funny that people are complaining that this place is hippyish, as I feel like it's not hippy enough! I also noticed that since I was there in 2016 a lot more conventional, conservative, clothes people are coming to the springs. I was literally the only naked one out of the dozen or so people that were there at the time which is odd because usually being clothed there is the minimum. Not that I actually care if people are close or not but it felt awkward that I was the only one.....
