A very limited selection of items. Clothes are lack luster and traditional, nothing eclectic or fashion forward as you would find in Pasadena or Los Angeles. Prices are around $7 to $10 for items, such as the Size 6 Talbots women's work pants I picked up (my luck). The tableware and kitchen acoutrements are worth perusing if you like those things. Rather too many old books and not enough of the utility items that people want to buy second hand. In terms of service, the young woman is very pleasant. Otherwise I had a palpable sense of a frontier small town with a closed knit white community where non-white are treated as suspicious. History lives large in these parts, it's only a century ago that the Europeans came here from the eastern US. As well, this is attached to a women's club which is an organization reflecting the "settler" ethos. Anyway I wouldn't bother again, and would look through shops in Pasadena for more choice. Also I had a whole car load of things to donate but I decided to take it back to LA where the charitable causes seem more pressing (than a women's club in a white enclave city which participated until recently in U.S. apartheid) and the population is more diverse.

Cute little shop & I found some cute things.it’s run by a lot of older ladies but unfortunately they aren’t helpful nor happy they have Horrible customer service so be ready to deal with bad mood if you go. I guess because it’s a small shop they talk to people like they want to but it’s ridiculous how condescending and rude they are. God forbid I turn like this when old. Just go home if you don’t like working with customers!

Prices are a little steep. The girls here are nice. Lots of house hold knick knacks. Open odd hours.

LOVE I spent $13 & got a gorgeous silk scarf, a vintage COACH belt, vintage leather Liz Claiborne belt & a silk tie. I am so happy with my loot. The ladies that work there were so kind; telling a new customer to come hang out with them when she remarked that she's been lonely since retirement.. my heart!

I took my two young daughters here a few times to spend their allowance, and they were happy with their haul. However, the ladies who run the front counter are very rude and not particularly competent. I called with a question, and I got an earful about how they were too busy and only had 2 people working and I that I should just stop by and check for myself. Despite my better judgment, I did stop by...and ultimately my credit card was declined because the lady kept swiping it instead of inserting it where the chip goes. She scowled at me about it, as if I'd done something shameful. I didn't have the energy or patience to explain to her how credit card readers work in 2022 and had lost any real desire to make a purchase there, so I politely left my selections behind with a bunch of retirees thinking I am over my credit limit.

I love this place! I used to stop in here once a week while out taking a walk just to see what new things they had in stock. I would browse their book selection for a half-hour or so before making my way to their knick knacks and everything else they have before making a purchase because who could possibly ever leave here without buying something is beyond me. The people who work here are always very pleasant and I truly always enjoy our conversations. Thanks and make sure to stop in and support them whenever you are out taking a walk or in the area.
